Is there any cases of price controls being beneficial? Didn’t Nixon impose some controls? How did that work out? Asking because Harris recently came out talking about implementing some to help with gouging.
Steve Eisman moment @ 42:09, there is a 👌🏻 probability of a bipartisan effort on fiscal austerity. "End the end, they always print because that is the least painful option." - Dalio
Biden, not too long ago, had to apologize for saying illegal immigrant. I believe it's possible we have passed "peak woke," but there's also a lot of people, including Noah, with an incentive to push the idea that it's over.
RFK has never been in the Republican party. Having different views than Democrats doesn't automatically make you a Republican. Criticizing the right for being very online is kinda rich coming from the party of Reddit moderators lmao.
Noah's hard on for vaccines is so insufferable. He brings them up in every single discussion. I also like how he always acts like the people who were fine with vaccines but against mandates specifically don't even exist.
They paint conservatives with a broad stroke, which is the mistake all left-leaning people make. i do see a good faith effort to understand, but still lacking.
@rjScubaSki I would just wish that we wouldn't be so weak. In the past, it seems like America believed in it's self. I am alienated and feel like it's hard to want to identify with modern America.

His progressive policies are popular among Americans. Shapiro was a weak pick that would've divided the party and possibly make her lose Michigan.

and retarted by 2024
I believe in you :)
Why so late in the day?
Erik torenberg is soooo weird lol

mad?
Look up the history of tuberculosis and polio.
Freeriders ruin collective action, and can’t always be permitted
To be fair - he raised it in relation to RFK, who does take a pretty anti vax position (not just anti mandates).

Personality cults, q-anon, christian nationalism are all weird.
I hate modern American culture.
What’s your preference?
