- “A WINTER SKY” Amazing pastel demonstration by artist and UK ambassador Les Darlow using Canson® Mi-Teintes® (en.canson.com/pastel-colour/ca...)
For more info about Les Darlow, visit: www.lesdarlow.com/
Discover with this demo the iconic Canson® Mi-Teintes®, a pulp-dyed colour 160gsm paper that has won worldwide recognition for its qualities and boasts the richest range of colours on the market. It has a different texture on each side: a honeycombed side characteristic of Canson® Mi-Teintes®; and fine grain on the other. As an authentic art paper, it has the highest cotton content (more than 50%) on the market, combining mechanical resistance and a sensuous feel plus it is gelatine stock-sized which limits the absorption of pigments in order to show colours at their best.
Ideal for fine art techniques: pastel, charcoal, sanguine, pencil, even watercolours and gouache, but also for handicrafts (folding, cutting, gluing, making cards, etc.). - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

He uses the rougher side in this video
With chalk?
That Paper is not Mi-Teintes, that one is Mi-Teintes Touch, which is different and more expensed !!!!!!!!!! But Great Work.
Hello. I want to know a suitable paper for pastel paintings and pastel pencils paintings.. can u suggest me one and where to find it...
Hi Arte, I made the video when I used to work for Canson. I can confirm it is Mi-Teintes and not the Touch, maybe because Les have taped around the sheet it looks like the white frame on the TOUCH paper ;-) They are both very different paper with amazing and very specific finish look, always interesting to try both and see which one you prefer :-)
@@alexaguignes3883 Does he used the smooth or the rough part of the paper? because it has two different texture...
@@antonelatercetti9418 he used the 'rough' side which is a honeycombed texture allowing to have different layers of colours visible at once :-)
Fantastic artwork, poor background music.
Actually, many of us enjoyed that music. And I agree, the artwork is FANTASTIC!
