- I AM SPEECHLESS over this one! This is one CRAZY CITY VIOLATION JOB! The lot is HUGE and there is debris EVERYWHERE! Luckily I was able to bring in some help with the cleanup and mowing. But the back and side yards were so bad that I had to bring in Munchie for those areas!

That mulcher is worth it's weight in gold. A very good job and it looks great.
This breaks my heart. We own 60 acres that none of the kids want. I cannot keep up with it by myself. How can elderly people be expected to do this with hand tools? Yet everyone shows up wanting free eggs, meat and honey.

Lease part of it to a young farmer in exchange for them maintaining the property. There are lots of beginning farmers who can't afford land and would love the chance to work your farm. Contact your local extension agent.

Mrs. Penobscot: I'm in Greer, SC. I would like to suggest you call the local high school and ask if they have an FFA program. It very well could be a few of those students would be willing to help you...and you could allow them some area to grow their own produce and sell it at no cost except to maintain your property. It would be a great learning opportunity for them, and you might find a couple you appreciate enough to give them some of your land for their own as you get to know them. Certainly, I'd rather give it to someone who will use and enjoy it, rather than leave it to children who will only sell/develop it when you're gone. Goodness knows...we're growing tremendously in SC. blessings on you!

Hell of a job. Good thing you had the equipment you needed to get the job done. Kind of sad the place looks abandoned and a haven for vandals and squatters. These videos always make me a little sad. This was once a really lovely little home for someone and others down the road utterly destroyed it. You & your crew did a wonderful job of clearing it out so it can be demolished. It's just sad the someone made that necessary.
