    I really enjoyed this video. I now feel the need to tidy up my own a little more neater. You have encouraged me to take action. Thankyou for showing us what a real overgrown out of control garden can look like ... no mower of mine would be any use in this situation.. take care all the best Julie from Lancashire in th UKxx

    Wow high weeds it is. We have two huge empty lots on the main road here and they are kept bare all year. Whoever owns them sprays those lots twice a year and they never have grass or weeds on them. I think the people in that trailer court were afraid there might be critters in that long grass. I saw no bunnies or snakes this time. You and that machine are really great. Thanks.

    What a great machine! I have a large tractor with 3 point rotary cutter but this thing is so much better because the cutter is in front of you so the machine doesn't have to run over what you need to cut first. I have damaged my tractor multiple times. So then like a fool I went and bought a used bulldozer so now I just smash everything. Problem solved I guess!

    • @idigit4967

    • @idigit4967
      @idigit4967  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      On lots this overgrown there is typically no way to walk them effectively so we just mow and try to be as careful and watchful as we can.

    I haven’t watched any of your videos in about 9 months but I can see why. You still spend more time with it up in the air and backing up more than going forward.

    • @idigit4967
      @idigit4967  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Raising the deck and pancaking helps me from pushing the material into areas I don't want it to go. Also, backing up and running the mower over the material helps mulch it down. The client was happy and got the job done safe, so that's all that matters. I'm not sure you know much about brush cutting and mulching.

      For brush that size I would recommend the XCT or XC7, both are great for brush that size. If you want it a little more mulched up the XCT would be the way to go. If not the XC7 would be fine.

    A city I once lived in had what we referred to as a "weed commissioner" and issued citations if your grass was more than 10 inches tall. You had 72 hours to cut it or have it cut, or the city would cut it and add the bill to your property taxes!

    If this is a city violation cut I have to wonder why it took the City so long to issue the violation. That jungle is years old.
