I must admit, I was never a huge ozzy fan back in the day. Having said that I love Sabbath, and Diary of a Madman is an album that transports me back to the 80s as an early album fave. You Can't Kill Rockn Roll remains one of my all time fave songs. I had a few other tapes and or cds of his over the years, but I've missed a lot of the non hits. I combed through his songs because of this video and man do I ever love Secrete Loser and Now You See Me (Now You Don't). I added them, along with Miracle Man and Fool like You to an already made Ozzy playlist I have on my phone in Foobar (i use foober for it's decent volumizing). I'll have to check your band. I used to play rhythm guitar in an a small band and we made originals. Did a few demos at Fanshawe College where Alice Cooper's old co-producer/engineer Jack Richards was teaching the music production course. Our style was like a cross between The Stones, Kiss, Zz Top, AcDc, black crowes, Zep. I was just getting back into playing with an old buddy but I messed up my upper back doing something, so know I'm waiting to heal up.

Yes, you’re right about Lee Kerslake and Bob Daisley _ They do play on the album, and are credited as songwriters also. Not sure why they put the other guys on the inner sleeve, maybe they were better looking? Lol. It was Sharon that flipped and decided to remove the bass and drums parts of the album reissues back in 2002, replacing them with Robert Trujillo on bass and Mike Bordin on drums. Keep up the good work man. 🤟🍺

I totally agree about Scream. That had a couple tunes that are more modern style, but also a couple tunes that reminded me of the early days.

I haven't heard your list, other than starting with Under Cover. I don't include that.
    12. Black Rain easily last, but it's still got 3-4 songs I like.
    11. Ordinary Man, it's got some decent memorable tunes. He's never gonna sound like the Ozzy Osbourne Band of the early days again. This is modern, solo, ozzy, which i still like.
    10. Down to Earth
    9. Patient #9, I'm wondering if this might climb over time.
    8. Scream, the best of 'recent' Ozzy, much better than most people seem to feel about it.
1-7 are all top notch imo, he started to dip a bit with Down to Earth, when Sharon started mandating that his guitarist no longer is the primary writer.
    7. No Rest for the Wikked
    6. No More Tears
    5. Ozzmosis -I couldn't disagree with you more(which is fine, who care), I don't even like the tubes you mentioned, I don't want you and Ghost, are my least favorite on it.
    4. Ultimate Sin, so underrated, Jake plays his ass off
    3. Bark
1&2 are two chapters of one book, imo. One of the most important'books' in metal history.
    2. Blizzard
    1. Diary

This might be a shock for some but the only track i like off of Under Cover is the Mountain cover Mississippi Queen. I remember hearing that on the radio wen the album first came out and i loved it ever since. The rest of the album I just could not get into. Shit sandwich.

Cool video. I hate them 1995 remasters with the horrible artwork you have though - I’d highly recommend the original European CDs, first issue Japan for ‘No Rest…’ coz it includes ‘The Liar’.
