Shanise Nicole we loved it !!! It was so quiet and chill ! I didn’t know a lot of people over there but I started going to Zumba classes at the community center over there and our street just became family ! I’m trying to get my husband to go back over there before he gets out 😂😂😂

Congrats on the move! We’re gonna be stationed in Schofield in June and so nervous about housing. How far are these homes from base?
AMR housing is roughly 30 minutes from Schofield and can be even up to an hour depending on traffic. We live not even 10 minutes from AMR so I'm very familiar with the area. Schofeild is huge! It is the complete opposite direction from Honolulu or anything really in that area. Just about everyone I know or have spoken to that is stationed on Schofield ends up living on Schofield due to the long drive. There is literally everything on base, and if not then there is a town near it called Mililani. Other than Schofield or Mililani, you're driving a good amount of time to get somewhere. The island is small but traffic can make it such a hassle to get anywhere! Schofield also has houses that look just like this btw!

This is on HMR and I don’t see why you wouldn’t qualify my husband is an E5 so you definitely shouldn’t have a problem picking this neighborhood to live in….good luck 🥰
If you live on HMR is there a gate guard that check ID?
Yes now they have guards at first they didn’t but now it’s 24HR ID check
