- TIME FOR A FILIPINO FOOD FEAST!
After eating a few times at "Chow2" in Maragusan... I figured it was about time I showed you this delicious family restaurant! Welcome to another video from this little mountain town in Davao De Oro. After our local experience making wine with our Mansaka friends, we had one more morning left in town...
And so off, to a local restaurant we went! I really love the various Filipino dishses you can order at "Chow2". The fish dishses, chicken soup, bagnet... just everything is great!
Oh, speaking of great... nothing greater than the funny fish and fruit vendors driving along the road of mountain communities in the Philippines!

That Fruit Stand On Wheels (and fish) is another example of Filipino ingenuity and resourcefulness! If you bring it to the customers, they will buy! Amazing 👍🥰👏
The lechon looked soooo incredible! It's been so long since I've had some. Made me wish I were there. Then you go to Chow 2 and have such an incredible feast! If that isn't enough to make me want to move to Mindanao right away, I don't know what is. Buon appetito Kulas and friends!!!
“Healthy dinner tonight, no pork” and next thing you know a whole lechon arrived haha! Maragusan really is beautiful. I need that fruit vendor here. Oh I miss ginamos and that’s what I call a nice food vlog. 😊

Philippines is full of culinary experts since a lot of students took the courses. Last time I went to the PH nine years ago, suddenly every where I look there is restaurants and the food have a lot of choices. Thirty three years ago you seldom see restaurant in the neighborhood. There are a lot of changes ever since. The food at Chow2 is definitely look delicious! 😋 Great to blog food for a change.

Pinakbet is an ilocano dish from the word keb-bet meaning wrinkle. They cook it until the eggplant wrinkles. Ilocanos cooked it with less or no soup/sabaw.

Well done Kulas, love the interview of Larry of Chow 2. You can tell Larry enjoys cooking and knows his flavors. Also, a nice added touch of the garden in the back, your local Farm to Table. All the foods looked sobra sarap!
He is a great person, and really has a great place!
That Chow2 would be my go to place. Those dishes looks so good. The atmosphere is really nice with all the plants. Therine would love those plants.
