This is my all time FAVORITE GnR songs and this bass line "anchors" the chaos of this song but also rhythmically guides it with great changes.

I seem to remember Duff saying in his book that he has no recollection of playing at least one foreign show and the only reason he even knew he visited the country (can't remember which one) was because his passport was stamped. That blows my mind.

Thank you so much! Nothing to it, really. I use an interphase and Garageband settings; mostly the amps -- the Modern Stack is my go-to.

Thank you! Though not a pedal per se, I did run my signal through a chorus effect in Garageband.
Ah - my all time favorite GNR tune! In the late 80s my band played an all girls party and included this one....needless to say, it didn't go over that well. However, if our bass player was half as good as you, maybe we would have fared better. :) Badass!

Pretty awesome but I don't think you quite got the tempo right in the intro. With Duff it's got a little bit of a swing to it.

How to set the tone
Hi! I use Garageband's different settings for the tone. For Guns 'n Roses songs, I'm usually using something pretty simple: an amp sim ("modern stack", usually) and a chorus.

How do you get this tone?
Hello! I'm connected to the computer through an Apogee jam interphase and I usually use Garageband's "Crunch Bass" setting with a little chorus. Hope this helps!

Grabo usando Garageband, en Mac. Aquí (y en la mayoría de mis videos, sin importar qué bajo esté usando) estoy usando los settings bajo Crunch Bass > Crunch Cab, con la distorsión (Drive) apagada.
Al ser una canción de Guns, seguramente le agregué un chorus también, pero nada más.
