Have the ai smoke coming in the Denali Black 60 stiff. Felt so good in testing. Stability of that you’d associated with a “black” shaft but still felt so smooth! Loved it.
how would you compare the 60 gram driver stock to a 70? i’ve heard a lot of both and didn’t know if the 70 felt too heavy for driver. considering going ai smoke in a 70s driver and 80s 3w.
Thanks for the review. A couple of questions: 1. Is the Denali Blue 'counter' balanced like the RDX blue/black, 'middle' or more at the tip? Thinking about putting it in a G430 max and wonder if I need to change the weight plug. 2. Does the Denali blue play 'true' to flex in your testing? and finally, noticed that the Denali black actually has more torque than the blue 3.9 v 3.7
The Blue doesn't seem to be counter-balanced but I need to toss it on my SW scale against the RDX Blue to see. I think the Blue plays pretty true to flex.
Ordered my Callaway ai smoke td driver with denali blue 60 tx, waiting since Jan27th, because of my choice of shaft, they said it might be here very late April. Hope the wait is worth more than waiting through the delays and choosing Denali black Xstiff (highest flex option for black version). Can Denali blue TX with one inch tipping be as stiff or more stiff than denali black 60 Xstiff? What do you guys think about my choice of waiting for 60 blue TX one inch tip than 60 black Xstiff?
@@golfwrxradio surprised to hear that even though blue 6TX has torque of 3.1 without tipping and black 6X-stiff has 3.7 but black can feel more stouter.. Thanks for the reply!
@@golfwrxradio Thanks man,one last thing, does that bit have a hole in the bottom of it or is it hollow? It seems like there is a nub in the weight so a regular bit don't work becaue they are solid so it won't fit down in the weight,

@@TadaOU I didn’t hit the 70 so I don’t know.
would u get black or blue in driver? golf galaxy told me to go blue in driver black in 3 wood but thinking of doing opposite
@@TadaOUjust got fitted for 70x in 5 wood 3 wood for AI smoke max and liked it
@@hubie77 that is what I ended up going with as well. 70S tho not X and in my 3w. love it.
Are the one's sold through Callaway a "watered down" OEM version, or the same as what is sold through Project X? TIA
I asked PX specifically about the Denali Black and they told me it is the exact same shaft for Callaway that they sell and sent me

loved the feel on the denali blue I just didnt have the consistency with it
Def one of the best feeling Project X shafts to date!
I could be wrong but I think a build video would be cool. Masters winning putter or something
the blue is a paradym ai smoke option as well. just place a custom order.

The Blue and Black profiles are different, so tipping the blue is still going to have a little softer mid and handle section compared to black.

How does the Denali blue compared to the Mitsubishi chemical tensei blue 65
How would the Denali Blue compare to the Kai Li Blue?
I feel like the upper handle section feels more stable and it launches just a little lower for me.
I have the PXG Gen 6 irons, is there any way to get that special bit and weights from PXG so I can remove and change the weights?
I don't know if they sell that stuff, but def worth reaching out to see

PXG sells the weight kits on their website!
