I like how you can see them gradually descend into madness with each Hellraiser review. Ah, the sweet suffering...
Even the one on the left that defended the worst films in first half of the series just gave up and doesn't give a shit anymore about the second half.
It's sort of funny that pinhead (who is supposed to be the high priest of hell) had to essentially hire himself a hitman in order to defeat a villain who is so second rate that he was easily taken care of in less than five minutes.
I have no compulsion to watch any if these films (though I have seen and enjoyed the original), so you guys save me the hassle in a much more entertaining way. Thanks again guys!

Brainiac19 84 honestly I think 2 is very enjoyable its almost as good as the 1st. 3 is a guilty of pleasure of mine.

To your question about "Why, from all the implied existing cenobites, is Pinhead always the only one that comes through every time?" The answer is that he's probably their PR specialist. So he MUST be there, otherwise the Leviathan dimension will face a PR nightmare from ours. Or, maybe he looks cool so the producers are milking it dry. Either one is possible.
Because he is the hell priest and leader
Or maybe he's tied to that specific box, and the other boxes summon other priests.
Or maybe he's the only official Hellpriest that speaks English, so he's the one that gets sent to deal with anglophonic summoners.
@@DistractedGlobeGuy no there are other Cenobites that speak he isn't the only one the majority of them are mute but there are others who speak like Pistonhead Camerahead and Dreamer in Hellraiser 3 and the female cut open throat woman in the first 2 films speaks as well there are bound to be others who speak that just haven't been seen on screen
@@markpugh6808 there are clearly other _cenobites_ who speak English-but we've yet to see another cenobite _priest_ that does. Of course, we've also yet to see another cenobite of _any_ class that speaks any language _other_ than English, but given that they were created by a Frog, there should be _some_ at least.
I am so glad you guys are here to watch Hellraiser 7, because there is no way I am wasting 2 hours on this. I gave up after the 4th installment, cenobites in space. Pinhead's make up looked terrible. His face looked like an over inflated balloon.
why would you EVER be sick of seeing the Lament Box ? It would be as like being tired of seeing Jason's hockey mask , Or Freddy's glove, would it not?

I also think the box should remain unchanged.
I hate how after Hellbound PinHead became less and less stoic and he became more angry and sinister with each new instalment.
I honestly think Doug Bradley forgot how to portray the character after the second film and just decided to play the character solely for monetary reasons.
What made PinHead so intrigue and captivating was his indifference and detachment from what he was doing, in HR 1 and 2 (well in 2 he started to become a bit more involved) he was just so matter of fact about everything.
You solved the box and by doing so you agreed to experience their approach to pleasure and pain, PinHead was so menacing because it wasn't a personal issue it was simply his job/passion.
But since HR3 he is more like The WishMaster or every other generic slasher villain, long gone are the days of ambiguity and now he's just a mindless killer with no subtlety to the character.
I mean he didn't write the script blame the people who kicked out clive barker in early films and poor scripts the actors aren't at fault.
Taking it for the team - well done guys :)

I have never managed to make it this far into the franchise.. There is only so much direct to DVD self harm one can inflict upon oneself! Having watched this, I know I made the correct decision for once, ha!

Never change the box , change the Scripts change the Directors instead.
I didn't watch this one. First of all, my friends told me how awful it was, and they told me to avoid it.
And secondly, the fucking subtitle, "Deader?" Really? Sounds like a 1st grader named the subtitle.

While I wouldn't recommend any of the direct-to-video sequels, this is probably the only one I kinda like. At least it's not Jacob's Ladder.
Speaking of winter can make deaders but how did he make one out of himself? Cuz he can clearly feel pain when pinhead strings him up was he actually a deader or was he still alive?
In Hellraiser hell,you have theaters,arts,politic,citizens and slaves.
The 90s comics were a extended universe.

I hate how Pinhead becomes less and less like the first idea of the hellpriest. First he was all like: oh we will show you pain in more ways than any man has endured. We will explore you flesh….and so on. And from movie 3 he is like: HAHAHAHHAHAHA IM GONNA KILL YOU HAHAHAHHAHAHA

you guys should do more reviews of shit films, love the reviews where you tear them apart... heres a couple of suggestions; Double Team, Batman and Robin, A good day to die hard. Just off the top of my head
This movie wasn't good. I love Hellraiser 1&2 and still enjoy 3&4&5 but after that it's crap.
The only thing that works is the box.
A BIG Lack of Cenebites , not good.
