    This video is really helpful and I hope you make more of them. I'll be honest, since all this analytical stuff started showing up in FM21, and now 22, I kind of ignored it because I didn't really understand most of it. So this is helping me get a better idea of what's going on and what all that data means. Thanks.

    My spidey sense went tingling when you said "use the data hub for scouting". I could really use a video like that. And by scouting with the data hub I hope you mean to get analysis on a scouted player and determine if he can fit your team

    Excellent video. This will now let me get more out of the Data hub. I can get the basics but thanks to your explanations I will now be able to get a better understanding of the data, eg possession gained and where the passing is taking place. I guess the next step would be to see where I lose possession aswell. Can't wait for the rest of the series. I think the Data hub is a major improvement to the game.

    Can you please make a quick video explaining what the heat maps mean? I have trouble understanding what the different colors mean. I am a bit color blind, so that probably doesn't help but they don't make much sense to me.

    Great vid as usual. Out of interest I've got a player in my save called : Tor Inge Bustnes Sjursen he's a young Norwegian Left Back. I wonder how many languages you have appeared in as a player !? It would be great if someone could get one of your namesakes to win the Ballon d'Or or the Golden Boot !

    Hey Daljit! I was wondering why the skin does not fold when I have highlights. How I could solve this issue? Right now I can not watch on 2d or anything, because the information panel blocks every highlight :(!

    Keypass should only count if the pass leads to a "big" chance, which is often defined as a scoringchance at about 0,3 XG. The keypass information in FM 22 is useless if not further examined.

    Why do you lower the tempo if you have a high amount of shots resulting in headers?

    • @paulb4604
      @paulb4604 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm CERTAINLY not a tactical expert and I'm interested to read his explanation. What I'll tell you is that when he said that, my thought about it was that if you're playing at high tempo, your players are running more and running faster, so therefore a lot of passes and crosses they try will come at high speed, therefore the attempt would have more momentum behind it, which would tend to get more air under the pass or cross, therefore resulting in more headed attempts. But I could be way off here....

      And apparently I like the word therefore. :/

      When you lower tempo you allow attacks to build up, get players into better positions and work the chances. When you play on higher tempo you need to strike fast but if the team is able to defend against the initial attack, then you could struggle.

      @@BusttheNet oh thanks that was the exact same issue I was having on my save.

      @@paulb4604 Tempo in FM terms is not how much or how fast your players run. It's how quickly they play with the ball, making decisions to dribble, pass, shoot. Think of it as how many touches the player takes before playing the ball to the next player or taking a shot, etc. There is also a player trait called "dictates tempo" which allows the player to deviate from the team tempo instruction.

    Its completely pointless signing players off of their stats (xg,keypasses etc), you should only sign players with the correct attributes and pro/cons. The ai uses players incorrectly all the time limiting their output, a striker for the ai could get 6 to 10 goals in a 38 game season while for me he would get 20-30 goals per season. Signing players off of anything other than attributes and mental attributes is stupid imo.
