loving the project, can't wait for more!! I'd say Pellegatta should be the next chosen one since Schenetti is getting very old. Probably depends on your tactical choice tho, if you continue without an offensive midfielder Sulaj or Moretti look interesting too
I think Moretti is the one mate, that determination is ridiculous and then he would suit the tactical switch more, just need to make sure he builds up that endurance
xG tables show it all: should have +10 goals for and -7 against. Could be the case of team chemistry after busy summer, but it’s typical summer for lower leagues. Looks like a proper striker could be a gamechanger. Good transfers in tho, especially like those two guys from Atalanta: Melegioni and Cortinovis. First is kind of a hidden gem for weaker clubs for few FMs now, while the latter is a talent that rarely goes beyond mediocrity.
I would play with WBs on support or at least with two WCBs to cover for the flanks, as the gap between WBa and CBd on the right is just too big for high pressing football. I guess your second formation with IFa should improve your flank protection and results should become much better. My vote goes with Moretti as he's pacey and great technically
"needs a wash though" cracked me up, why do the new newgen faces always do stuff like that 🤣 might be worth getting a facepack since the series revolves around youth players to an extent
Could mean you're dominating matches in honesty therefore you naturally won't have as many, which I was so that's why I checked the winning possession one more thoroughly
I just dont like 3 at the back tactics. I always found I lost points because I had less creative options going forward but still conceded around the same. As for the chisen one, I just cant look past Morettis 16 determination, he looks sure to become something, however D'erricos physicsls are insane for a 16 year old!
I love 3-defender formations but those three have to be mobile and smart, imo. A lot of times, it's a struggle for me until I find (or develop) those players. Until then, I have to be content holding teams to 1-3 goals and using the offensive numbers to generate 3-5 as much as possible. I also like them to not commit to attacking an offensive player too often but instead be alert to picking off passes to them. If the ball is on the foot of a fast winger, AMC, or forward, we've failed as a defense already. And without that mobility - we'll not have a chance to recover. I get the rationale of why you want defenders to be good in the air but a 12 speed, 18 jumping player isn't going to do a thing against a burner that can pass on the ground to a partner that's as fast. Gotta cover ground and get in the pass lanes. It can work and certainly gets me a lot of "entertaining soccer" points with the supporters. Since I love versatile midfielders and 5 in the center-mid level to create a lot of confusion and opportunity, I'll take it. Win's a win. 5-4 or 3-0, it's 3 points all the same.
Just a couple of thoughts on your formation. As other people pointed out, you concede too much. Goalkeeper aside, you have only the centre-backs that stay behind (and one tends to be wide as well). I would keep at least one of the wingers on support (if they on attack, they tend to go to the end of the field, while on support they cross from the edge on the box and thus are more ready to go back) and switch the DM on defend so that he can help covering from counters.
@@StingerNeilD I get you but what I mean is maybe somewhat traditional approach might just work. I might be wrong but I guess it won't hurt. Or you could go fully unorthodox.
Maybe use a 3-4-3 formation with a counter attacking style. In the front three could use the strikers like wingers and the attacking mid like a false 9 then in the mid four you could put two defensive wingers and one box to box and another dlp or bwm and in the back three a libero and two bpd might do it. You're an expert in my eyes you could tweak this into even something better
You have me inspired to do a the italian job save. Triestina is the club. Have not decided yet but is getting hotter and hotter. Btw. Not that impressed with any of the players you have to choose from. I would look for determination, natural fitness and personalaty.
Looking at the xG table you concede to much, together with quiet leaky defense it comes down to the goalkeeper. I have the same second season syndrome with my keeper, brilliant first season, crap second season (yes multiple saves). Look how many xG he has prevented, guess it is a high negative number.
I've thought about doing that. 3 defenders, 4 in the central space, 3 forwards with one, likely the central forward, being a F9 or CF (they'll often play as a F9 or a secondary winger, especially if you do pass into space and the opposition doesn't defend sideline-to-sideline and you play the whole width of the field on offense). Kind of like dump-and-chase tactics in hockey. The CF can be the one to go get the ball or move across levels to be available and exploit the defense if they decide to chase the ball also.
Always a good day when you upload
Appreciate you
I like Moretti, think with his slight height advantage and aggression he could be good in any attacking midfield, SS or up front he could be very good
Thanks for your thoughts mate!
@@StingerNeilD no problem, love the content mate
Id say Moretti, He Looks exciting with His Flair, good technique, physical Attributes and 16 Determination
Thanks for your thoughts

Thank you. And nice breakdown on my options too 👍
Thanks for the videos as always!
May I ask how often and at what time do you stream on Twitch?
At the minute it is when I have time, so no real schedule at present as I prioritise youtube
Never used the data hub before personally, learn something new in FM every day😂
It can be confusing so just focus on the scatter graphs is my advise

Good eye mate. He's just been switched to work on stamina 🫡

lovely lunch time treat
🍔🍟🍔
I'm late to watching these but mate so good
Cheers bud
I would say moretti as long as the new tactic works because I think he would be good on the wing

Faces will be taken care of 👍🫡
If your team has fewer blocks and clearances what instructions do you need to give to improve the stats

Maybe go with rather simple formation and tactics. I think the complexity of the tactics and instructions are holding the team down.
A good point. I'd say there's not a great deal of instructions being used at the minute though
