The anime doesn't follow the Manga at all. It's OK, but it's not even remotely the same story. The Manga is a really great seinen series though.

Ah hell yes, I'm always down for a good vampire story. "Checks MAL page.... its only 12 episodes" Immense disapointment, instantly dropped. Your right, this series really needs a remake with several seasons!

the manga is even better because there was a lot cut from the anime because of constraints and things like Akira's amnesia doesn't exist in the manga

Love this anime. This and freezing got me into buying physical manga more. I had some naruto and aot, but vampire bund really mad me a collector. Watched it the yr before covid, so i got a lot of mamga dirt cheap during the covid rush. I got really lucky on some of the stuff i got.
