I totally agree but since he is a humble person he will never say this, even after the last tour their they performed the Epic 7 min Dementia with more than 3 of nonstop guitar solo, on that night he earned the title that night. Maybe the young JP could have played the guitars but never sung as good at the sane time as Jessie does
Jesse Cash, in my opinion, is ONE of the best guitarist of this generation. Also, IMO, I think he is one of the most underrated guitarist as well. Have met Jesse in person and is such a humble and kind human being. I can't believe he doesn't even have his own signature model guitar! As far as the album goes, it is definitely one of the best albums that has been released so far and one of my favorites. Banger after banger and love blasting it in my car after a long day, it puts me in such a happy place. You guys definitely went out of your comfort zone and I'm so glad you did, thank you Erra! 🤘🙏
@@ryanbenke5514 Yeah I got to meet him when I has VIP tickets when they were touring with Northlane, Currents and Crystal Lake. He's my guitar hero in this generation, their new album is just absolutely amazing the amount of work they put into it is incredible and by far since Augment one of their best albums. Jesse if you see this, tell Ibanez it's been WAAY to long and they need to give you your own signature guitar! 🤘😂
Also, have pictures with him, along with JT and the whole band along with members of Northlane. Their tall ass lead singer took the pictures, nice Australian guy. If anyone doesn't believe me, I don't know how to send it to you other then giving you my Facebook, which I don't mind, they are posted on it. There's always someone who doubts you and thinks you're lying, I'm not and it was SO nice I got to talk Jesse, my guitar idol, for a while, along with JT. Was just star struck straight up. 🤘😂
Did I say this band is amazing and one of a kind ? Well they for sure are. Dudes are all talented and some of the best musicians in the world in my opinion. This is my favorite album by far. Jt is my dude!!
I wish the band could know how much I LOVE this album. I always sort of dug the bands riffs SOMETIMES but i always felt like when a cool riff, or melodic part would happen it would be cut way to short, not repeat again or the riff would start cool than just get way to chaotic. This album is like they heard me and crafted this record for me! The choruses are catchier and happen more often, riffs are WAY more instantly attention grabbing and just groove SO nice. Another HUGE thing that's overlooked, the drums. They are always good but I feel like the drummer really did an AMAZING job of taking jessies crazy ass guitar riffs and breaking them down to a nice 4/4 that is super easy to bounce to. Like I could bob my head the whole song! Usually cant do that with erra with all the crazy time changes. The thing is that's all still here!! Its rare these days that I get an album that feels like a journey. An album that when its done I feel not only satisfied but want more. An album where you find cool new shit every time. This was that album for me this year. Which is crazy because it was the least on my radar. The only crappy thing as a guitar player I so want to play these songs. But damnnit jessie you dont make that easy! Thanks for the sick record dude bros
Great group of talented guys delivered on this album. Found Erra a few years ago and this new album is my favorite. I unconsciously hum the melody or sing the songs at times. Really like how they brought Jesse's vocals forward to give each song great balance. Currently my favorite gym Playlist is Erra, Hollow Front, Beartooth, Sleep Waker, and Alpha Wolf.
the feel of each song on this Album is equally great , that I could not pick a favourite song , nothing feels better now than a new Erra song , I hope to see them live in a big festival soon
Alex is one of my favorite drummers, and Band.Totally underrated. Definitely a drummer that needs some lime light. He is probably one of the most humble dudes. What I’d give to have a moment to have him show or tell me something I didn’t understand before behind the kit, or just plain kick it. Keep on rocking guys. The fam bam and I are blasting ERRA from our truck.
This is the wholesome content the internet needs; thanks for giving us a peak into the making of. Just regular people being their goofy selves and enjoying themselves while making something wonderful for others to enjoy 👍
Awesome can’t wait for the album so excited about it great videos too totally awesome you guys still rock my world I can tell you that and you definitely got a big heart in you great behind the scenes moments very touching too love you ERRA you are awesome in my life much love 💕
Oh man HARD agree, I remember right after the release and hearing it the first time, and the following listens, getting this weird feeling for thinking it was THAT good, I didn't want to jump the gun on putting it so high on a pedestal, yet here we are, over a month and dozens upon dozens of listens later, and I still feel that way. Even if someone doesn't personally agree, the fact that anyone, and in this case many people, have brought something like this up is incredible in its own right.
One of the best albums I’ve heard in a long long time. Definitly my second favorite Erra album behind augment which is my favorite album of all time tied along with four year strong’s self titled album. Such a masterpiece this album is. I absolutely love the mix on this album and how thick and punchy everything is.
i will say i hadnt felt anything in me sincer impulse, not that any other album was bad, it was just missing something deeper for me and this new album hit me just as hard as impulse did the first day i heard it back in highschool
I’ve kinda just always assumed that the drums were programmed. Which I’m totally fine with if you can physically play it live, and Alex kills it. Also because you never see him actually playing in the studio. Anyone else know if this is correct?
Jesse is a primary songwriter. I believe Sean did contribute in some guitar parts but the majority is Jesse. Back in Augment days, both Jesse and Alan are primary song writers and I remembered Sean was their bassist before.
"I'm one of the best musicians of our generation"
-Jesse Cash, he didn't say that but he should.
Hmmm I wonder if you think Jesse Cash is one of the best musicians of our generation 🤔

I’m waiting for Alex to show up and say “I’m Alex and I wrote the drums better”
Erra is a different breed of band, they pretty and beautiful and slammin'
Greatest band of all time, and everything they said about their fans couldn’t be closer to the truth.
Driftposters 4 Lyfe!
So pumped we got a shout out 🥺
2:30 Ha! The way it goes from Jesse being so serious and explaining something meaningful and then straight to that takedown was just so hilarious
It's incredible that the other one is jumping while not looking at him because he's too confident with that dodge
@@platipuce8193 and the way he falls, he was so confident in his jump! I just could not stop laughing 😂
@@piperfournier5477 That killed me 😂
Jesse reminds me of Tom from Architects. Such a great song writer.
Someday someone will remember mister Ballew, hell of a drummer.

There is not a single songwriter that possesses Jesse’s skill level. This album has been the treat of a lifetime.
2:30 Exactly what Jesse did to my perception of what music can be when I first heard Sacred Organs 4 years ago
The most addicted song of erra is 'breach' and 'snowblood'

A band that truly belongs next to or ahead of the Australian legends.
The Best album, i love it!!
It’s the best record in years. Truly you, Polaris, WSS, and Architects are moving the genre light years ahead. Incredible work, huge fan.

I love these videos! I hope there are a lot more of them. Really cool to get a glimpse of their creative process. Absolutely love this band.
The slide kick was as awesome as this album really love it!
Lol at jesse with the slide!!!
Hard to not have the conversation about this being the best album from any band over the last ten years , Top Teir in every category. 🤘

When do we get to see Shroud rip it on drums in the studio?

Love how episode 3 is episode 2 at the beginning of the video hahahah

This album can toe to toe with Augment because is more diverse and shows new flavor that didn't introduce in Augment.

I cant tell if its a behind the scenes or a documentary, why is there so much talking and so little natural "we're working in this" video?
