@@thisistori1 Great. Then tell me in your own words without looking up what someone else said, why in the hell would you say people should play that mess of a game?
I also just found this beauty in 2023! Hard to believe I never even heard of it. I thought it was never because of how beautiful & thorough it is. I absolutely adore it so far. It’s late right now so I got off just before the bear fight.. Still can’t believe this game is what-8yrs old, wow 🫡 Good video, I like your calm demeanor yet excited & insightful delivery, you’re appreciated 🙏🏼
it really is crazy, definitely doesn't feel like 8 years old when playing through it. i loved playing the whole tomb raider series, while it might not be the most complex/in-depth game ever, that isn't what they are trying to achieve. I'd say for the game/series they're trying to make, it does everything perfectly for me thanks for watching, appreciate the kind words! glad you enjoy!
I’m glad to see it kept some of the aspects of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and made it better, I was scared it would branch off to far from the first game, I’m manly happy that combats the same
Game runs at 60 fps most of the time on Xbox series X and I assume PS5 . Looks and sounds like a 2020ish game, not 2015. Exploration and the puzzles you find inside challenge tombs are very fun. I am also a fan of all the different options you get in combat.
Definitely! Got it at 5$ on PS store and it has everything: fun gameplay, weighty gunplay, amazing puzzles & tombs, excellent presentation, an okay story and lovely Lara. And something very difficult to find in 2024: no w0ke bulls**t.
Just downloaded 1st and 2nd from trilogy, and after i played God of war ragnarök gonna start this from the beginning, played this on ps3 and i love it , after 8 years , now i am playing this on my ps5 😁
Yeah this is my favorite game of the trilogy. Just finished playing through it again a couple days ago. The scenery is beautiful, storyline is fine, I understand why people say it's a bit combat-heavy but I really enjoyed that aspect of the game.
Yeah the "raider" in tomb raider makes sense for the action, its not exactly archialogical sightseeing, but the story itself raises a few question marks to justify certain things.
ROTTR is the best from the trilogy, even tho this trilogy ended up with lara croft not being the tomb raider as she was in the original, but the gameplay still good and lara look better then the shadow lara
The game is good but it is a product of it's time. While the gameplay generally fun and gives players a lot of agency how they want to approach combat it is unfortunatelly disrupted constantly! The collectibles are out of control in Rise of the Tomb Raider and in my opinion do more harm than good. It does hurt the pacing. Let me elaborate: Documents in particular flesh out the story significantly, almost to the point where players may not understand certain dialogue if they didn't listen to those "audio-logs". The problem is that the way the devs opted to use these logs is having you stop playing and locked to the document screen...for up to 60-120 seconds each! Mind you there is an absurd amount of these things to be collected (almost 200). IMO the game would hae been a lot better if the player was allowed to continue exploring listenung to them an the game had less collectible-clutter bloating the experience. Just replayed the game with DLC and other than the ain drawback I mentioned it still is a good game that could've even been great.
That gameplay is terrible. Jump over here? No, jump over there. Attack that enemy? No, jump over there. Theres a collectable? Let me spend thirty min looking for an impossible nook. Oh, I'm at the last stage and haven't leveled up enough, cant beat it and cant access any previous saves to actually level up!? Great game
With that point of view, you must think Uncharted: A Thief's End is a boring game too? And not to mention any game franchise that has spawned more than 2 entries.
tha answer is yes
definitely!
The only reason you say that is to be "pro-woman". The game sucks and you're not even a gamer.
no one cares about you. @@Mythdoubt
not to mention - you don't even know me. typical man @@Mythdoubt

The best Tomb Raider of all time.... or atleast my favorite. Period.

This game is phenomenal.
true
The whole trilogy is free on Gaame Pass now. I played like 4 hours of 1, but it seems best to just soak up one of the better bigger sequelss.
nice, been hearing about this!
I've liked this game so much that I completed it on the hardest difficulty (which took me an entire month to do)
Nice one! It’s great

finally got around to playing this, definitely worth playing. once you get most of your gear it really takes off and the graphics still hold up well.
I'm playing it in 2024 & loving it. Holds up visually even now & the gameplay is great fun.
im started playing the trilogy in late 2024 and the answer is still yess

glad it runs well on console too! love the series!
Even on ps4 pro it runs at a smooth high framerate
For some reason on the Xbox series s it only runs on 30 😭
Great game, started playing again last week.

for sure!
Lol series X shits on ps5.

Same! They killed it!
Just got it like a week ago for like 5$ dollars on steam and I love it
Got the celebration pack for $6 on Black Friday and sank my whole 2 days off just playing it
Playing this game on pc with the highest graphics is a phenomenal experience
For sure, looks amazing. So does shadow.
ROTTR is the best from the trilogy, even tho this trilogy ended up with lara croft not being the tomb raider as she was in the original, but the gameplay still good and lara look better then the shadow lara
Yes, it's one of my favorite game.
nice!
What version is this 2018 2019?
I can’t fully remember unfortunately
Okay!
Definitely
yes!

In the first one you only hunt in the beginning it's literally one time and then you never do it again
yeah thats true
The answer is no. There is a section where you wade around in red water and try to figure out a solution where there is none.
Fair enough, I mean I wouldn’t say one mission would make me come to the answer of no but up to you.
i start playing it in May 2024😅😅😅
Nice, it’s still worth it!

i wouldn't say it's terrible but i guess it's not for everyone
If you treat the game a little like assassins creed and a puzzle game mixed I find it better
The answer is NO don't waste your time. The other chapters are good
I definitely recommend this one
Its great looking but its not fun.
I would disagree
On the contrary all 3 games are very fun gameplay wise , story wise it's subjective
after two game of tomb raider you realize, it's the same game...boring....
I wouldn’t say it’s boring, still had a lot of fun. The tomb raider games just carry on with more content, one after the other.
With that point of view, you must think Uncharted: A Thief's End is a boring game too? And not to mention any game franchise that has spawned more than 2 entries.
But you play as a female! Do you hate women!?
