Rage of Dust was very unexpected but absolutely appreciated, Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans has legitimately the best openings. Raise Your Flag by Man with a Mission(same people who did the most recent Demon Slayer opening), Survivor by Blue Encount, and Fighter by Kana-Boon, 3 absolute bangers. Edit: AND SORARIO DAYS?!? Gurren Lagann is one of the best mecha of all time, it’s the complete inverse of NE Eva, you don’t watch for the plot, you watch for the raw as hell fights.
Man with a Mission's real iconic track is actually Database, the original OP for Log Horizon - so good they kept it for 2 whole seasons. Iron Blooded Orphans I think loses for best overall openings to Black Clover... everything BC has literally slaps, although it's a bit samey.
Would highly recommend the openings for Kokkoku, Blood Blockade Battlefront, and the 2nd op for Re:Creators. They are some of the most underrated bangers in anime.

The fact that Devilman is one of the most important, revolutionary, psychological and violent manga of all time and the 70's adaptation made it a children's show always made me laugh a lot
@@toniidk4637 even tho the 2019 adaptation keeps the basics of the story it changes a lot because it's a modern reinterpretation of Masaki Yuuasa, and I personally think it's an amazing adaptation. But I'd recommend you to check out the original manga too to see the comparison between the two works, it may seem a bit goofy and childish-looking at times, but trust me: it's worth it. Also keep in mind that the manga came out in the 60's, so it was pretty unusual to see that much of violence and critic to the entire mankind, in fact a lot of families tried to censor it because they were scared it could affect their children and they also couldn't stand what the manga was trying to say about society and people. It changed manga as a medium too, it introduced the white-villain-black-hero trope that occur in a lot of mangas like Berserk and Chainsaw man, and the whole aesthetic and narrative structures were put as standards in storytelling for japanese comics

Her official title is "The Queen of Anisong(Anime songs)" even Lisa considers her as a legend. You should listen to her songs. Fun fact: she is the voice actress of Hinata Hyuga from Naruto, Ann Takamaki from Persona 5, Fate Testarossa from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, Alois Trancy from Black Butler, Moka Akashiya(both outer and inner Moka) from Rosario + Vampire and Tsubasa Kazanari from Senki Zesshou Symphogear....and a lot of characters from different series and games.

Honestly, it's my favorite anime op. Or at least in my top five. I haven't seen a lot of mainstream anime and I know a lot of those openings are well liked, but Gamble is one of my top ops. My Dress Up Darling was the sleeper hit of that season for me. I went in expecting a shojo anime full of fanservice, and what i got was a adorable love story full of understanding and acceptance between a ADHD girl and a boy in the spectrum (full of fan service)

Fun fact about Food Wars (which I recommend and recommended in another comment): The original write/animator used to make hentai. This anime IS wholesome, but it is definitely for mature audiences. There is never anything fully explicit. There is a lot of just shy of it, though.

Imagine Master Chef or Chopped but the food causes vivid reactions in the judges, throw in some fan service and absolute silliness and that is Food Wars in a nutshell. Yakitate Japan was an earlier anime in this genre if you wanted a little more tame.

Yeah they kinda dont want to waste the time just for the visuals that could really spoil the show. At least that's what I believe why.

Rage of Dust was very unexpected but absolutely appreciated, Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans has legitimately the best openings. Raise Your Flag by Man with a Mission(same people who did the most recent Demon Slayer opening), Survivor by Blue Encount, and Fighter by Kana-Boon, 3 absolute bangers.
Edit: AND SORARIO DAYS?!? Gurren Lagann is one of the best mecha of all time, it’s the complete inverse of NE Eva, you don’t watch for the plot, you watch for the raw as hell fights.
Man with a Mission's real iconic track is actually Database, the original OP for Log Horizon - so good they kept it for 2 whole seasons. Iron Blooded Orphans I think loses for best overall openings to Black Clover... everything BC has literally slaps, although it's a bit samey.
Would highly recommend the openings for Kokkoku, Blood Blockade Battlefront, and the 2nd op for Re:Creators. They are some of the most underrated bangers in anime.

The fact that Devilman is one of the most important, revolutionary, psychological and violent manga of all time and the 70's adaptation made it a children's show always made me laugh a lot
Would you say das the modern adaptation is better, and enough to not read the manga, or would you still recommend to read it?
@@toniidk4637 even tho the 2019 adaptation keeps the basics of the story it changes a lot because it's a modern reinterpretation of Masaki Yuuasa, and I personally think it's an amazing adaptation. But I'd recommend you to check out the original manga too to see the comparison between the two works, it may seem a bit goofy and childish-looking at times, but trust me: it's worth it.
Also keep in mind that the manga came out in the 60's, so it was pretty unusual to see that much of violence and critic to the entire mankind, in fact a lot of families tried to censor it because they were scared it could affect their children and they also couldn't stand what the manga was trying to say about society and people.
It changed manga as a medium too, it introduced the white-villain-black-hero trope that occur in a lot of mangas like Berserk and Chainsaw man, and the whole aesthetic and narrative structures were put as standards in storytelling for japanese comics

I'm happy that you listened to Shaman King op because the singer is one of my favorite J-pop singers, her name is Nana Mizuki and she is a popular idol and voice actress in Japan. Her official title is "The Queen of Anisong(Anime songs)" even Lisa considers her as a legend. You should listen to her songs.
Fun fact: she is the voice actress of Hinata Hyuga from Naruto, Ann Takamaki from Persona 5, Fate Testarossa from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, Alois Trancy from Black Butler, Moka Akashiya(both outer and inner Moka) from Rosario + Vampire and Tsubasa Kazanari from Senki Zesshou Symphogear....and a lot of characters from different series and games.
I'm proud that i made him react to wakfu's opening, that show is so freaking good and is so underated, at least outside France!

Imagine Master Chef or Chopped but the food causes vivid reactions in the judges, throw in some fan service and absolute silliness and that is Food Wars in a nutshell. Yakitate Japan was an earlier anime in this genre if you wanted a little more tame.
You should try an all Gundam Opening's video, rarely see one of those around.
