2021 NJT Heritage locomotives and more classic EMD diesels.

2021 was an exciting year for New Jersey Transit. In addition to the usual CNJ, EL, and PRR Heritage locomotives, later in the year NJT dressed up many ALP45DP’s into military themed schemes to commemorate the Army/Navy football game at the Meadowlands. NJT ran a finely tuned procession of trains to the game with these engines. The highly decorative blue “Armed Forces” unit stole the show. We finish the show with a Christmas time serenade of trains wowing the local fans, and you get to meet the “French Onion Soup” engineer.
