I'm Egyptian and I know there are some political tensions between EGYPT and Ethiopia but I can't Deny that I love Ethiopian food and culture. And I respect my Ethiopian fellows who work with me in Kuwait...... GREETINGS FROM EGYPT TO YOU all 🎋🎋♥️🎋♥️🎋🎋
Greeting to you too, it takes a great person to break this tension and reach out. After all politics consumes most of us specially In the developing countries. So peace up on you, and may God help us reconcile our differences and stay as neighbors in love and harmony.
Hi sweetie I’m Moroccan and my husband from Eritrea and he loves éthiopien food as long as we can’t visit his mother to eat this delicious food (Coronavirus)I have no choice just to find recipes on TH-cam so first I made your Doro wat he was super happy even his brother, so now I’m gonna make tibs 😍🌹❤️ thanks for sharing
Ke habesha bet new sigeza ye neberew diro. I’ve also used prime rib eye steak cut which can be a bit pricey if you’re cooking for multiple people. These days I go to Aldi and buy chuck roast or chuck bottom roast.
Thank you! Ethiopian food has always been my favorite when I eat out, but I want to start learning how to cook it and it's hard to find resources. This will help a ton!
Great video. One thing though, when you were putting the onions in the beef I think I heard you say the word "optional"....and then I got lost. Habesha food and "onions being optional" is basically forbidden. Lol there's even a joke that says habesha people eat onions like apples. I am habesha but I don't speak Amharic. But when I saw the onions and heard "optional" in English, I got scared. Loooolll
Thank you sis i got a lot from your lesson.I appreciate all your hard works and steps.I am not good cooker or cooker at all but the science is!That is not the reason why you add onion after the meat is fried but to get the principle of osmosis.(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osmosis).

Hey. On what heat did you cook this? Also, do you not add any Ethiopian spices like Birrbirr?
When it comes to berbere It depends if you want it white tibs or red (with berbere)
Can you please tell us the best cut of beef to use?
Lamb is the best one
I use beef knuckle meat
Looks mouth watering. Could you please tell us what cut of meat you used? I love how it’s red and white. Great flavors!
I think bought rib eye steak cut and used it for the tibs.
tbh if u live in london, u can go to sainsbury's and find a type of meat that's red and white

I think she was saying it was optional to add onions before the oil for additional flavor but she does add it after too.
