To take this setup to the next level, each time you feed a province to the subject not to be the one you're playing as, if you start building a unit and then cancel, the game will recalculate your loan size and allow you take a few more loans. This happens because as your loan size decreases, the amount you can have increases because one is based on interest and the other based on current dev. There is a point where it is no longer worth the inflation though, as the extra loans would be too small to justify the extra inflation and interest accrued.
How to nation ruin? It's like this... * Be me * Try for an Orthoman run * Get dogpiled by Austria, Poland, Venice, and Aragon while playing silly games with rebels and development
This is a better version than what I normally do. Soon I need to do an Empire of Mann run that is a pirate. Between release, feed cores, annex, and re-release, then doing this I think I can make a really strong Mann. Thanks.
Another great video. Any chance for more long plays from you? I really liked the 'Golden Succession' game and hope that Florry will release his part soon, but any long play from you would be awesome. My favorite video was your Sich Rada game.
If you are going to release and play as there is a far better way that takes only 10 more years . Make a custom nation with +2 goods +40% gov capacity (or +20% goods produced if gov capacity is not an issue) -25% dip annex cost and take every bad idea that gives negative points . You would need Angevin Monarchy as T1 gov reform for parliament (or select roman as starting culture and switch t1 gov reform in order so save points ) and ideally be catholic or have provinces to form Georgia (without it you can only have -85 % diplo annex cost and this set up will take about 10 more years ) . Every custom nation has -15% dip annex cost mission , along with parliament issue , influence 3th idea and -20% dip annex cost from being catholic or from Georgia mission you have -100 % diplo annex cost , so you can feed all of your land and almost instant annex them (with that custom nation set up you have ~ -250 points , so you can take a LOT of land ). As an example i started as 1900 development Mongolia with 450k gold following Mayan religion (with all reforms) in 1457 .
@@thestudentYT Well every exploit is basically cheating just in a creative way . I'm sure there are a lot of people who hate them and don't use any of the exploits . But for those who don't care this could be a new way to break the game and see how far they can go in ironman .

Well when you're not french you're not supposed to know that it's pronounced AlenSon because of the weird c : "ç", otherwise it would be pronounced as he saidn he really neild the "en" sound

I think this is cool, but if you really want to game releasing vassals the thing to do is to release them, annex them while feeding them more land, as much as possible, then release and play as the vassal. They will now get all the provinces you fed them last time. This makes all the release and play as achievements trivial since you can simply take all the province, release them and feed them required provinces, annex, then release and play as and you get it on day 1. For example here, the strongest Wales is to keep conquering as England while releasing Wales. Annex them, but keep feeding them land during this, you should be able to have the loyal with almost all of GB, at least if you keep conquering in France and other places. Then release and play as Wales and you are now where England started, maybe stronger.
The thing here is that it all takes a lot of time. For "easy" achievements such as Wales it works fine, but it is often better to start as early as possible to spend the mana wisely and choose the right ideas (especially for byzantium or the like). Also, disloyal vassals can't be annexed anyway, and with strong nations you'll rack up too much development to efficiently feed it to a loyal vassal before annexing it...
Id love it of you included in the description which dlcs are needed. I dont have Grant Province (Cossacks?), nor did i have condottieri last week (Mare Nostrum)
Awesome advice, and I love your channel in general, but I am going to point this out as a fellow person who doesn't speak English as their first language, just for brevity's sake. You mean 'take over' (to inherit or forcefully take the lead from someone), not 'overtake' (to move from behind someone to in front of them in a race/ranking/etc.), though in this case, that's also not the right word to describe it. Just 'inherit' would be best. Again, I'm not trying to be mean or anything. The three terms have different meaning, so I though you might want to know. And again, I'm a fan and I've learned a ton from watching your videos.
Is it more worth to play as England for a bit for their mission tree, conquer France and Rome, then release and feed Wales all your provinces then annex again, then do this money trick?
Question regarding achievements as released subjects: do you have to switch to the released country on the first day, or if you take, lets say an in-game year THEN release, is that valid?
So as I understand it when you release a vassal they basically take their share of the treasury. He made it so the counties in Wales effectively had the vast majority of the treasury, so that when Wales is released it immediately claims what the game thinks it's owed. Which in this case is hugely inflated
The Treasury is overtaken partially by the nation that get's released... and the percentage is based on the percentage of autonomy based developement before the release
You cannot play as a nation that is already released... so once you play Wales it is AI England that would need to gift that to you, and well... they won't do that ;) Also even if, you could only send about half of the money because of the deficit while running loans debuff
@@thestudentYT Its very much not a fun thing to do but can be used to give more land with the major tradeoff of time and diplo mana that could otherwise have been used to dev. Also thinking on the England example it might be a better idea for newer players to release several vassals to break up England?
@@jonathankraus6818 I think one big Vassal is better because that highers the chances for France or someone to release you in a War so that you don't need an independence War ... also imo it is easier to defeat one bigger nation later
So I tried to do an exact copy and I got 4.2k gold, so obviously did something wrong. I notice on the map Gascony is release, although you don't mention in the video, so I did the same. I notice in the leger afterwards that Gascony also has about £4k of gold and Northumberland has 465 gold.
Does it mean that when i as a player realease (without realease and play) a vassal nation i also lose some autonomybased% of my treassury? I never so my money move when i realease a nation but perhaps its either so small i never see it or because it dosent work on players nation?
No! Actually good Question! Because that is really weird stuff going on there as you keep the entire Treasury and you subjects ALSO gets the percentage of your Treasury (so the Money just summons from the dust) :)
I think so but they only take a percentage of Land based on their Crownland so you would need to give them 99% Crownland so that they get 99% of the Money :/
