I can now collect power cells hidden cautiously across several Overwatch characters' nude bodies.
Can't wait to have daxter slither inside roadhogs poopchute
Super useful, though very contrived pseudo-hex editing. Seems like the most efficient way to build a level right now would be to build the entire scene in the modeling software (I use Autodesk tools), and then export it as a single mesh Would be a larger file, but would save a lot of time as it currently stands. I sincerely hope the Open GOAL team have some sort of map editor in the works. Thanks for the guide! Would love to work with you in the future on projects!
with enough time and effort, you could make whole new levels to explore with this. Honestly has me really hopeful for the future of Jak modding
We're finally there. The point in time where we can create content for such a masterpiece that is the Jak & Daxter series. I really hope some talented people will make some levels for Precursor Legacy so that we can make the places that didn't make it in the final game as referenced by several different pieces of lore and also with the Collectors Objects and books that used to be sold and distributed.
the shark said nope
This is super super fucking cool, massive props to all the minds behind this project
I didn't even know this game had a community this amazes me
It was about time, dude!
RIP default cube
Imagine the community continuing the story unofficially 👀
I don't understand how the collision JUST WORKS. I would expect you'd have to create that.
I have 0 experience with this kind of thing.
Im not an expert with Blender either. I'm guessing collision is set as a default unless you change a setting.
@@ronaldofortnite That's pretty cool, I guess the actual engine creates collision mesh from the model itself
gotta have notifications on for all these channels working on opengoal. insanely cool shit
Any others I should sub to besides this one?

Great job! You're the best! I never know how to edit custom levels and spawn actors until now. Btw, is there anymore actor names to spawn, let me know. Keep up the great work!
The JSONC file has the power cell, along with a yellow eco blop and an orb crate. Those can be toggled as well. You can also add other actors to that file if you know how to (i dont).
Yellow sage village coming soon?
LETS GOOOo
I guess the only question I have is, how to get the obj's out of other games isos. and how to know where the level loading points are so I know how much space I have to work with
Could you turn the jak map(s) into something we can also pop into blender? That way we can just line everything up in there and then delete the 'template map' and export the rest?
actually yes
Is there a way to play with a ps controller?
I play with a DualShock 1 on a PS2 to USB adapter.
I use SCP Toolkit to play on pc with my PS3 controller (there's no need for it if you have a PS4 controller, as those are recognized natively by the computer).
Every game I tried worked perfectly and didn't need any configuration, including OpenGoal
DS4windows might help if you're on windows. I it support DS4 and DS5 but not 100% sure on the DS5
Just plug any controller in with a USB and it'll be detected by the game
