That huge wrench and the socket are a specialized tool. My husband was a pipefitter in chemical plants and had those and even bigger ones. I know I was amazed the first time I saw them!

You don't need to lie to me, I do this for a living." or something like that, rephrasing it to be more polite I guess. If he has water leaks/mice he needs to fix that. not be in denial about it.

And I bet Autozone website would be a great place to price the unknown parts you have, same with Home Depot site for door hardware. Or at least a rough idea what they sell 4 retail.

Yeah Woot went to crap when Amazon bought them. So much so that the founders of Woot jumped ship and started a new site that is almost identical to the old Woot called Meh.com.
Industrial liquidation, and restaurant auctions are where the money is. You can spend a few grand on a lot, and turn it into 5k with a few days work. Many of these items will be long tail. With enough inventory you shouldn't have an issue. I shouldn't be saying this as it could bring more competetion, but I'm not giving away my secrets. Flipping junk brings low returns for the time invested.

How many items did you receive total? What did the manifest say the quantity was? I’ve been thinking of doing this! $1500 for about 2000+ items is crazy… even if it’s 4000 that’s like .37 ea item. If you sell (after tax/shipping) I see you’d make a great profit.

After working for Amazon CVG2 (returns) and CVG3 (trans-ship) I'd be scared to buy reject pallets :-) Dude I shipped out shit with tire tracks across the box...because RATE mattered more than quality...in other words, all that mattered was how many items per hour I processed, pulling things out for damage was frowned upon because it slowed down the rate by removing them from the product stream.

REgarding the birds...the small birds were trying to keep the owl away from their nesting area so it doesnt snag a nestling.
