Are you kidding me …a banjo is not in the top 5……1 in 500 finishers use them, they have been outdated since the 1950s and you’re using hot mud to lay tape…. It has the least amount of adhesive of any drywall finishing product. You also need to by yourself a pump to load your box. If you knew how to run a box you wouldn’t have to chase it with a knife.I’m thinking you need to come to the USA and learn how it’s done😎
Yeah I hear that a lot. Our jobs are quite small so we need to do more than tape in for the day. Our base coats are designed to tape in with. As well, I find that if you go over it with a blade you save time between coats scraping back. It leaves it nice and flat. I hear you though, people say that all the time
Top 5 in Australia this is pal. you see every country has different way of doing things... yours aint better than us nor ours better than yours, it's just different. we use chemical set base for 1st coat on top of taping. A bazooka has way more componemt than mud box, which means more time to wash up= less working time, same as the loading pump you mentioned, one more thing to wash within that 60 or 90 minutes set time.
