Off road is different because you’re traveling way slower and the surface is slippery.. therefore, using rear brakes are OK but I would still use front situation dependent. But once you’re on tarmac, switch to front asap.
In this video, if I used front brakes I would have lost the front.. rear saved me but on tarmac you don’t do that th-cam.com/video/So0tSAAHWzE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PY1uzjeA4kCTzew3
Thank you very much, Captain. One of the most beautiful and elegant content that I have seen on TH-cam. You have a very interesting style of conveying information in an easy way. Continue with your creativity. From SAUDI ARABIA
Thank you so much for this. I was too scared to use the front brakes on my 150cc but now after watching this video, I will try to use more front brake.
is there never a scenario where we use BOTH front and rear? I used to hear that we should use front brake more but ALSO use rear brake as somewhat a backup, where u apply more front braking but apply just a bit on rear. which one is the truth?
i noticed that when you brake, you hold your clutch? do you always have to do that? with both front and rear brakes? what happens if you don’t? sorry lol, im getting a bike soon and need to be educated !
I just got a bike as well and am learning. I subconsciously let go of the clutch while coming to a brake and my bike stalled and I tipped over, crushing my knee between my bike and my car(thankfully my car was there- my brand new bike would’ve needed some work) I’m only 4’11 btw. My knee is okay btw but still healing 2 weeks later… hopefully tonight I can get to a parking lot instead 😅
Great video! I´m a new rider and I problem I´ve encountered is that I got used to using the rear brike for low speeds since it´s more confortable, but in panick situations now my reflex is to hit the rear, causing loss of grip and obviously less breaking power. How do you break that habit of hitting the rear one if you want to continue using both breaks but for different situations?
In UK if you use only two fingers on the brake lever on the test for full bike license, that's concidered as fail. I don't know where this difference comes from.
License tests are 100% for new riders but this is advanced and no one will teach it besides advanced track riders or racers. What’s to hate about it? Fingers on brakes for faster reaction when needed. I understand beginners need to crawl before they can walk / run.
What about in the rain cuz your traction can be would you use engine braking or trail break? What would you suggest would be the safest way to stop in those conditions?
8:19 Is that legal? Isn’t that dangerous? I will be a beginner, but as a driver I absolutely hate when motorcyclist do this because it gives me anxiety. 😅
I’m a new rider and I did exactly what you explained not to do. I panicked braked going like 10 and dropped it. Now i feel way more confident. Thanks
Guilty! 😩
Well this video clarified it for me because I was taught that the front brake was dangerous but now I see, it could be my best friend
Front brake dangerous? Wow get rid of this person from your life asap.
@@PetroHeadi was told the same thing. Only bc all i did was ride offroad

If I am going slow and coming to a stop, pulling the clutch will prevent a stall.

Visualize riding the proper way with eyes closed for 5m before the ride.
Excellent explanations 👍🏼 thank you
GREAT VIDEO BRO !!!
Btw - I love the way the cops parked on 3 parking bays.

Excellent! Easy sub, thanks!
What about in the rain cuz your traction can be would you use engine braking or trail break? What would you suggest would be the safest way to stop in those conditions?
Nothing changes when it rains.
Will there be any difference in technique for Non ABS brakes?
Just take extra precaution.
When should we use both front and rear brakes together? Is it emergency braking?
Never.
Why not
@@PetroHeadplease explain why
Always. But the distribution is dependent on the situation. Listen to motojitsu or other TH-camrs not this one.

Its legal to lane split in California.
