Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful garden so many beautiful plants I really loved it. Hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy, and Debbie. Keep these awesome videos come in my life.
Love the white shirt and pearls! You classy thing Georgie and Googie in her party clothes,it’s made me realise if I get dressed up maybe my garden will proliferate too to look like both of your gardens Love that song too , I haven’t heard it for ages Love the season change videos with Googie - she has been very artistic in spots with her plantings and pots or fence shape . Very clever, had to laugh I’ve never planted potatoes either and want to give it a go. But I planted Jerusalem fartachokes in bulk and my friends would run away from my gift baskets , don’t plant more than one or you’ll regret it and maybe loose too many friends lol
You are so right! :) The old lady has such an amazing, cute charisma. It is heartwarming! I wish her and her family well and all the best! Warmhearted regards from Vienna/Austria.
As always Googie is an inspiration! She reminds me of my Grama who gardened into her early 90s. I'm convinced gardening is what keeps us young! Much love to you both xo
I’m watching your mum doing cats cradle thinking she’s fitter than me and I’m 60 , then I realised the speed was 1.5 😂. She’s still extremely fit for her age . My mother is same age and fit .❤
Dear Georgie I am a new subscriber only finding you this week! Today I’m having a lovely time watching lots of your videos and what a total joy meeting your wonderful mum and visiting her most beautiful garden. I feel I have a lot of catching up to do! FANTASTIC 👏👏👏💚💚💚💚💚 thank you so much xxx
How lucky your mother is to have her health. I am 80 and gardening was my great love since a child. Some years ago I got Sepsis and lost all balance and use of my feet. I am in bed unless my home help can take me out in a wheelchair. Weather permitting. I have to admit to being very envious of this lady. Long May she garden.
I really feel for you reading this , but at least people like Googie and other gardeners can help you in spirit and bring you Joy however the circumstances , it’s not the same I know , but I pray 🙏 you feel the Joy of it and the memories you have return , all the best ❤️🩹
Dearest Carol ,I feel for you as I am in similar circumstances so I understand the frustrations of an avid gardener unable to move freely anymore . Now I get great joy looking at the garden I started over 30yrs ago and have mature trees to look at but oh dear no more raking Autumn leaves or planting out beloved seedlings .Now the joy comes from watching the native birds return ( I live in a small town by the sea in NewZealand ) to make their homes in the mature trees and eating the various fruit in season .I hope you have good things to look at to refresh your spirit .❤
I just found this channel and I am thrilled by all the beautiful plants being tended by an 83 year old...I'm ONLY 80 and have a tiny container garden in west central Florida. Of course, one does what one can, where one is. 😊
I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed Googie's garden for the first time. And I shall search your sit for more. Im a 72 year old gardener and find your Mum a total inspiration!!! Garden on Googie!!!!
It’s perfect timing to showcase your wonderful mother as it’s Mother’s Day this Sunday here in the States. My mom is the same age and unfortunately suffering from dementia. I wish she was as spry as your mom in her golden years but instead of raising flowers and veggies, she raised nine of us. I think we wore her out. 😊 Happy Mother’s Day. 🎉Cheers to moms everywhere!
Inspirational garden and lady! There may not be a better advocate for the benefits of gardening than your dear mum. Long may she continue to inspire us. Thank you Georgie for sharing her accomplishments with us. I do hope the floods haven’t done any damage to your patch.
Wow I’m so impressed how healthy and agile she is . I recently went really hard and expanded my gardens and flowers i over did it and hurt myself bad and haven’t been able to hardly walk and my right hand is numb. I have an appointment today with the ortho dr hopefully I can get fixed back up so I can continue gardening. I’m only 63 so I’m so jealous and thrilled for you!!! Gardening is so relaxing and rewarding!!! Keep up the beautiful gardening
My husband is overwhelmed lately with my love of flowers. I started watching this video and he said watch Googie later. I said I want to watch Googie now and said no later. He needs a flower break haha I do not so I'm watching on my phone in the bedroom. Googie❤!!👍
I accidentally found this channel tonight, and am so very glad I did…I LOVE it!!!! I can’t wait to watch more!!! What a wonderful treat, and what an absolutely beautiful garden! I love listening to you girls. Thoroughly enjoying watching from Kentucky, USA ❤️🌺🌿💐🌹
Thankyou for this. I loved your mother and laughed all the way through with your banter. I am 74 and live in Australia in a small country town. I love love your mothers garden. I just hope I am doing gardening as well as she is at 83.
Wow. What a lovely video. I'm so glad that I have found you all. Your mother's garden is amazing. Thank you. And Googie is a delight. From Victoria, Australia.
Hello from Georgia in the US. Just found you, first time viewer; and I am hooked! If your other videos are as delightful as this one, I really look forward to seeing more. Googie is an absolute delight; I shall garden vicariously through her. Being American, I was unfamiliar with many of the flora and fauna; wish I knew more. Thank you for starting my day off with oohs and aahs; stay well.
Wow, what a lovely inspirational mum & gardener extraordinair. It reminds me of my dear 93 Year old dad who is an avid gardener & poultry keeper & builder of fine furniture. Thank you for celebrating our beloved elders, Hi from Western Australia 🦘.
Googie came out of the womb with pruners in hand 😊. Oh my goodness I absolutely love mom's garden. It's heavenly! If I came to visit I would have to bring a pair of Felcos in hand and take cuttings. I am loving the rhododendron color. How beautiful...Georgie your mom is priceless 😊 God bless y'all and thank you so much for the tour ❤
Lovely Googie 🌻🥰... I am in Maryland, so it's nice to admire different types of plants. My Mother's Uncle Tatnall had a huge garden, packed into their suburban yard, and this experience reminds me of his garden. There was a hidden arbor swing, in a far corner behind his fruit trees and potting shed. I prefer gardens to Newscasts as well!!
Hello from Curitiba in Brazil, you, yr mother and your garden are wonderful, I love gardening too and doing composting, all the seedlings I donate in a shelf in front of my house. Congratulations!
Oh, I am so happy to have found this channel! I love flowers and have worked wherever I've lived to have a variety. Something usually comes along and causes problems. So this is a dream come true just to follow this precious lady through her heavenly garden. Janice from Arkansas USA

Her garden is also very beautiful and I noticed she has some very original features i.e the fence, pavers and iron work (I’d love to know where she got those wonderful iron plant supports in the pots) Thank you for the tour. My grandfather, an Irish GP, saw out his retirement gardening in his old suits, but I think wearing out your party rags sounds more fun. "I was fishing in Inverness..." love to you both
Googie is a good egg - and such a hoot! My Gran also was besotted by hedgehogs, and used to leave a saucer with bread and milk and blackberries, out for the hedgehogs at the bottom of her garden in Devon, every night. I have just bought an enchanting little book by Pam Ayres, called 'The Last Hedgehog'- it's a very funny poem in the form of a passionate plea to protect these sweet creatures - you should buy it as a prezzie for Googie - I think she'd love it!
Greetings! I'm almost in your neighbourhood, over on vacation from Canada with my 83YO mother-in-law! We've been rained on in many a county, and are now seeing the odd ray of sunshine in Lacock, Wiltshire. Good thing we don't need dry feet, because they're hard to come by most days. 😂 I'm sorry to hear you've had flooding at the farm. But we've enjoyed no-mow May in the diverse hedgerows down in Devon. Thanks for the tour with your mom.
This is an amazing video. I really enjoyed it. It made me so nostalgic. I miss my granny so much. She loved flowers and gardening. She always wore skirts, blouses, or dresses. My granddad grew lots of food and shared it with everyone. He grew things we never ate but he grew them because neighbours love it and it was hard to buy. I'd love some wild orchids in my garden. How did your mum start them?
Knowledgeable, down to earth and strong. Great lady your Ma. 👌

Happy Mother’s Day from indiana. Love seeing the garden and your mum is lovely ❤
hello Indiana! x
Ur mum garden is amazing, presumably she has someone to help her with it. She's an inspiration.
She has her friend Carol on most Mondays between March and October but otherwise it's all her several hours a day every day x
What an amazing woman your mother is! So agile physically and mentally. Her garden is also very beautiful and I noticed she has some very original features i.e the fence, pavers and iron work (I’d love to know where she got those wonderful iron plant supports in the pots) Thank you for the tour. It was so interesting that I will have to watch it again in case I missed something.
She's a great one for a garden show like RHS Tatton Park and that's where she finds a lot of her garden ironmongery and so on x

Googie is a good egg - and such a hoot! My Gran also was besotted by hedgehogs, and used to leave a saucer with bread and milk and blackberries, out for the hedgehogs at the bottom of her garden in Devon, every night. I have just bought an enchanting little book by Pam Ayres, called 'The Last Hedgehog'- it's a very funny poem in the form of a passionate plea to protect these sweet creatures - you should buy it as a prezzie for Googie - I think she'd love it!
genius - I'll get it for her - she loves Pam Ayres as well as hedgehogs x
@pollywaffledoodah3057 Just to note..NEVER feed hedgehogs bread and milk it's terribly bad for them...give them a little cat/dog food instead.
