Just installed my 2500 yesterday on my E350 van. I made my own brackets to attach it to the rain gutter without the need of drilling into the body. Love this product!
You should not exceed 18 inches of overhang. Here is an article about how to fit an ARB awning to your vehicle. arbusa.com/fitting-an-arb-awning-to-your-vehicle/
Mount it on a roof rack instead of directly to the side of the shell, topper, or vehicle. It'll give you better head clearance and allow you to get into your vehicle.
What is the smallest rack length this awning needs to be safely attached? I'd like to fit it onto a 2 door Wrangler JL, move it from the side to the back while stationary and I'd also like to fit it onto my cargo van, so I'm interested in using the Quick Release Attachments but I don't know how far apart they need to be.
+All No We have had a deluxe bullbar bumper available for your truck for around 10 years now (see link below). As for the snorkel, the first production batch will be arriving in about 2 weeks. Look for a product release on our website in the next week or so. Here is the link to the Toyota Tacoma application guide - www.arbusa.com/uploads/PDF/accessorizeYourRig/toyotaTacoma.pdf
Excellent design, simple to deploy and store. Your canopy is only 4'x7'.... do you make one that is bigger for a van, say 10'w x 7'deep... also, the poles look like they could you a more rigid material... can you upgrade the poles to larger diameter, thicker sidewall material? Now that you have the basic connector parts and storage system, options would be good!
We offer a larger awning that is 8.2ft. Also available in a aluminum case. Here is a link to our awnings and awning accessories. store.arbusa.com/Search.aspx?k=awning
Wow... No Mounting Bracket? That killed a sale. Heck I purchased a awning NOT an mind you, and at least it came with everything that I needed to mount it to my vehicle. Looking at the price of this ARB awning, they really should INCLUDE THE HARDWARE..... IMHO
A bracket is not included because we don't know how or what you will be mounting the awning too. Say if you are mounting the awning to the side of a van, that hardware wouldn't do any good for someone who is mounting to our roof rack system or someone who mounting to a tent trailer. If we included multiple brackets, which still wouldn't be able to cover all mounting options, then the price would be driven up and a lot of parts would be left over. Not a good business decision. Our awning has been rated very high on quality, replacement part support and cost across many printed and digital publications around the world.
Goodolboy One the reason they don't come with mounting brackets is because all roof racks are different shapes and models. Unfortunately some people need custom brackets to go with the their roof rack
+Kaipo Fitisemanu Part number on the bracket is OS850. You can purchase it from any ARB dealers. For more accessories for our tent and awnings, please visit our camping/touring application guide - www.arbusa.com/uploads/PDF/accessorizeYourRig/touring_camping.pdf
Sorry, we don't sell direct, you will need to go through an ARB dealer. Is the link to our dealer locator - www.arbusa.com/Find-A-Dealer.aspx?online=yes
+SuperFastComet It all depends on the vehicle. In this case it did, and since then we have flipped the mounting brackets upside down to raise the awning a couple of inches.

Hmm. What do your gutter brackets look like?
I just put this in my van. Used this video to figure out how to set it up.
Very well done video. Lots of features that are usually overlook when comparing cheaper alternatives...
Nice. Just got mine yesterday. I hope I can set it up as smoothly.

Glad you liked it!
Can this swing be installed from the back side of the veichel rather then hooking it up on either side?
How about ARB put that “mark” on the pole as part of manufacturing
love to see how they mount to the non ARB roof racks

Hey guys that’s a lot of overhang. How much overhang is acceptable for the 2 meter awning? My rack is only 1.1 meters long.
You should not exceed 18 inches of overhang. Here is an article about how to fit an ARB awning to your vehicle. arbusa.com/fitting-an-arb-awning-to-your-vehicle/
Great video. I am picking one up today.
Ha, I met Buddy King at a PA jeep show just a few years back.
Love the Tacoma. Have one myself
can I install on a Jeep patriot with yakima corebars that already have a tepui kukenam 3 mounted?
Here is a great article on mounting to your vehicle and the different options. arbusa.com/fitting-an-arb-awning-to-your-vehicle/
could play a drinking game with this video. drink everytime he says arb. I mean arb stakes....really ?
Does the rear door hit the awning at the rack mount?
+tegunn never mind...someone already posed the question..
it looks like that back door is being blocked by the awning.
I noticed that too.
Mount it on a roof rack instead of directly to the side of the shell, topper, or vehicle. It'll give you better head clearance and allow you to get into your vehicle.
Looking for 2500x 2500 awning :( no stock

Does the outside PVC zip cover remove completely? and does it come in different color options?
The cover is designed to remain attached. Only one color.

@ARB4x4USA
Does the awning impact the ability to use the rear door on the truck? It looked like the top of the door might hit it if it were opened.
+SuperFastComet It all depends on the vehicle. In this case it did, and since then we have flipped the mounting brackets upside down to raise the awning a couple of inches.
you edited out putting away the side rails...
What is the product number ??
Here are all the part numbers - arbusa.com/site/wp-content/uploads/camping.pdf
