6sh92 series is awesome even now. it has 4 models if i not mistaken,mostly its not worse than stuff like SSO. and thanx)))i hope one day i will speak like all europeans)))
Have the newer version one 6Sh92-5 in disco-flora. Like that it has rings for buckles on the shoulders, so that you can hang the back-pack from the front, in case one needs to carry some extra load backpacks for a little whyle. ( and it feels para-trooper like :D ) Used to hike in it too, and cant say a single bad thing about it. The backpacks lower buckles are also, compared to this older one, mounted on the lower part of the chestpiece, witch is a bit more comfortable .... the little pocket, if im not wrong, should be for AK-cleaning kit i assume ( or the weapon-oil-er ). The grenade-pouches on the chest piece have also little metal buckles for grenade-pins, so one can un-pin them right away when taking them out of the pocket, just as two buckles at the flare-pockets too. Quite a handy thing they added later, even for civillian use.
Nice ! I also like, as you mentioned, that most of the weight is on the waist. Was there a Sniper version of this vest ? If so, How many magazines did it carry ?

I use it- even in these days it is up to the job, i used it to carry 50 round ammo belts for MG3 machine gun. Very versatile :) Greetings from Baltic

i will try to review all of these 92 series if i will find it.these vests are cool ,aspecially for its age.
