I played and beat Grandia 1 and 2 as a kid I loved them. I played Grandia 3 in 2024. Instead of grinding up at Xorn I decided just to watch the ending to move on with my life. I was over the 30 minute battles only to die and have to start over. Grandia 3s story didn't touch the first two. I did love your video! That took some work. Thank you for putting it together.
Thank you, yeah the final boss fight need some great magic to beat it and some strategy and i use the time stop to make it easier 🤣, i have played grandia 3 before so this playthrough kinda easy, i haven't tried grandia 1 and 2, i will try it soon 🤩
I did the exact same thing lol. I enjoyed the game but i seriously spent almost 40 minutes on Xorn before i lost the battle of attrition. The easiest "yeah fuck that i'll just watch the end" of my life. No NG+, no post-game save, no motivation to spend time grinding.
I played the hell out of 2 and beat it multiple times i even have a save on the remaster with everyone at LV 75 but as for 3 i only have beat it twice once in 2020 and again a day ago but this time it was easier since i spent a long time grinding so i could be over LV 60 at xorn which did make the fight so much easier.
Nice gameplay. Grandia 2 definitely had the better plot imo. It kept me wanting to play just ro see what would happen next. Definitely a huge plot twist too that had me shocked. When i first played it, I did not expect the final boss to be who it was

Grandia 2 is peak but 1 is also really good, has a classic 90s 2000s anime feel, never played 3,good thing 1 and 2 got re released on modern hardware
