NFL referees aren’t perfectly-programmed robots, we all understand that. They’re going to make some great calls and some bad calls. That’s just how the game is.
But so far in the 2020 season, there has been no shortage of horrendous and inexcusable officiating mistakes that have determined the outcomes of games and, well, even some of our own fantasy matchups!
Here are the 20 worst calls of the 2020 NFL season so far.

I have to be honest here, and I can't imagine that I'm the only one thinking this, but I don't believe that that call on AJ Green was a bad call. He fully extended his arm and pushed off. I don't see where the bad call was.
He pushed off because the corner was essentially hugging him. He was getting separation.
@@chenie20 no the defender played good, tight coverage, aj green extended his arm completely to get seperation which in the rule book is PI
I was actually thinking the same.. and the first one shown.. I saw it as a fumble :/
The fact there is disagreement proves it wasn't a bad call. If the call went the other way it would still be on this list.
I can tell that whoever produces the videos for this channel (football specifically) doesn't have a full grasp of the rules for the NFL. Some of the statements are so far off that I question whether or not he watches these games to begin with.

I like how this guy tries to remind the refs taking off your helmet is always a penalty and he should have gotten flagged. But also complains when the refs throw a flag for touching the refs, which is always a penalty.

About half the DPI calls against Joe Haden have been ridiculous. It's been insane.
The basic problem with NFL officiating is that the league refuses to acknowledge that on-field calls are blatantly inferior. The "call on the field" is given precedence over the actual truth. The burden of proof for constant officiating blunders is placed on the teams, forcing them to gamble valuable timeouts defending themselves against either incompetent or straight up corrupt officials, leaving the challenges in the hands of the same officials, and making the challenge process so cumbersome that it can't possibly be applied any further. There are actual officials in the broadcast booth who can instantly make the proper call, yet despite the complexity of the rules and the fast action on the field, the league continues to hunker down and defend the worst system available.

I feel like they should start putting some normal, Sunday football watching, middle age guys in the booth in New York. Maybe the calls would be better 😂
I can understand the non-call on tyreek because in theory the ref could’ve assumed the helmet was already slightly off, if not came off and he picked it up after the scoring play. They were more concerned with one another and the spotting compared to whether or not he took his helmet off intentionally or not.
CEH was against me that week, and I had Pat mahomes, so that really decided my game, thank god. 🙏

Do a top 10 ruined chances at a 3-peat. 1976 & 1980 Steelers, 1956 Browns, 2005 & 2019 Patriots, 1968 Packers, 1974 Dolphins, 1990 49ers, 1994 Cowboys. The list practically writes itself.
2:27 they called it on number 51 for tripping. And tripping is unnecessary roughness. I agree with the refs, and if I’m wrong about that then it was a make up call from a few plays back when a guy did a massive late hit play on Patrick.

umm, #18 was 100% unnecessary roughness, he was like 3 yds out of bounds and he was holding on to Mahomes, so he fell.
While I do think QBs get way too much protection, I don't think #18 was an example of that.

Philip Rivers interception in the Baltimore game was also a horrendous call. The announcers and rules analyst were baffled.
