Simpler version of a Fractal Vise. Great idea. Keep up the good work.

Finally a DIY channel that I can understand and everything is clearly explained. Even better these are tools I would actually use vs some of the others I have see. Excellent work. :)

hmm ive always wanted a fractal vise but i aint about to drop $2,000 on one. I do though have many old gears from gearboxes in my scrap bin. Going to doing this for sure. I like how it can swap to a fractal vise to a regular vise with just the 2 bolts on each jaw

Sorry, this question is related to the glass block hole cutting short, not this video. Where would I get that glass cutting bit and what kind of cutting lubricant did you use? Thanks so much.

It's a carbide glass cutting hand pen or tool. If you search for a kit, they have some that come with the oil that you put in the handle that self lubricates while you cut. Hope you find it.

@@larsonbennett5903 Just remember Carbide is used to cut glass, so Carbide drill bits also cut glass. Just support the glass piece with some sort of sacrificial board when drilling into glass. Good luck. Also remember that Tempered Glass is not to cut or drill because it just shatters. Ask me how I know. Ha ha.

Now, I just gotta find some place to buy an old junk gear. It looks to be a cam gear? Sorry, I just saw you answered my question in your set up!

This is not a fractal vice. Not even close. And it´s very light duty and would break if any large force is applied to the part.
