Are These The BEST GLUTEN FREE BAGELS | Gluten Free Bagels From Scratch | Measure For Measure Recipe

  • King Arthur Measure for Measure Flour is one of the flours I grab often when making recipes from scratch. Let’s make these and see if they fall anywhere in the realm of the Best Gluten Free Bagels. Are they easy? Do they taste good? Are they something you should make homemade? Watch this video and judge for yourself.
    Ingredients:
    Dough
    2 ¾ Cups (330g) Measure for Measure Gluten-Free Flour amzn.to/3z9s4Xj
    2 Tbs (27g) Light Brown Sugar Or Dark Brown Sugar, Packed
    1 tsp Instant Yeast
    1 ¾ tsp Salt
    ½ tsp Xanthan Gum
    1 ¼ Cup (255g) Milk, Lukewarm (98ºF-105ºF)
    Water bath:
    8 cups (1808g) water
    3 TBS (40g) light brown sugar or dark brown sugar, packed
    Toppings, if Desired - Everything Seasoning, Dried Onions, Poppy Seeds, Etc.

      It was more work than I expected but it was also the first time I made them. Not sure I'll use the recipe again but if I do it should go faster on another go around.

    They look really good but I dont have the time to make them . Have been on the road a-lot lately .Just got home after driving all day long . Was up at 7:30 am and on the road before 10 am . Got home after 7 pm . So am still trying to figger out what to make for my supper and its almost 11 pm and since I have to make everything from scratch lol I mite just make an onelet cos its fast and all protein with a bit of dairy and lots of vegies tossed in . 😀😁

    Allot of work - I don’t think I would try them, I’m not a big bagel fan anyways

      Yes, it was definitely more work than what I expected. I've found another recipe that I'm hoping to try soon and it looks like less work.

      @@SavorySaver I make a pizza crust but would be interested in a better recipe..mine is OK fresh-out of the oven but not so good leftover

      I’ll see what I can find or come up with. Good pizza crust is something my wife really misses as well.
