the fendt is 20 years ahead, two seperate varios, top speed 65km, low rpm engine, that means very quiet at work and very economical, in 1200rpm have 400hp!

I think tracks can be a bit deceptive on the ground pressure. They look like they have a large footprint but a majority of the pressure is not distributed over the entire track evenly. The lower rollers have significantly more pressure than the rest of the track.

Hi Mike, just read an interview in the Boerderij ( Dutch agriculture magazine) by Mike Mcintosh with you. Good article. It’s hard to comprehend the massive acres we farm in Canada compare to the Netherlands. It’s even more impressive that the Netherlands are the second largest ag exporter is in the world ( for now, dutch gouvernement is trying to get rid of that statement)
I do agree with a little fun, talk about how hard it is on machinery, we pull a 55ft field cultivator with an 8370rt and also a 35ft chisel plow. That's actually harder on the tractor then doing any of this.

I am a Agco Massey Ferguson , Frendt person, been driving Massey’s since the 1960’s, I do own a John Deere and Massey’s. I always wonder what the out come would be in a pull contest between a 4 track tractor and a 4 wheel drive tire tractor, I was surprised. I have to give this one to the Frendt. Be interesting to take two of the rear tires off the Frendt and try it again.
Be nice to see you do some slack line over a ditch with your crew. Get the whole crew at one time on the big slack line. Fun on the farm with the toys.
Oh the strap forsure... You won't rip a hitch off.. Would have to be doing full road speed and drop in a plow or something and come a sudden stop! Once you fly through the windshield, it prb still wouldn't rip the hitch off lol
@@abli1445 he did, i saw mike answer the same question a while ago. they tested both, a 1050 and a 5000, but found that 1050 pulled better. which BTW is also proven by TractorTestLab Nebraska where a 1050 maxed out at 420hp drawbar VS 405 of the xerion.

No way. I dont see 20000 liters of water to fit in them tires.
what kind of hydraulic flow do you have in both of those tractors? and how much do you need minimally for those air seeders you're pulling?
Both of have twin pumps combining for over a 110+ flow.. Need around 100gal flow for the drills and carts

We used to just take the cultivator out and go to summer follow if we were not seating because it was too cold just to turn the dirt over
