The real winner here is the company who makes the straps because that's a whole lotta power tugging on both ends of it. Also goes to show how grip can dictate everything in these scenarios because I know the SUVs that have beaten the tractors in these video clip will not pull a one or two bottom plow 5 to 8in through the soil

Diesel engines, even the very early designs, are orders of magnitude more efficient. Steam still powers the modern world though, just not in the same way. Outside of wind, solar, and hydroelectric power plants, all of the thermal energy from coal and nuclear sources is converted into electricity with the use of efficient high pressure steam turbines.

@@ericrudgers6816 I think technically speaking it does. As it's not important that it's actively pulling, but rather resisting the movement. So tuging and pulling, but not moving, is similar here. Might be a different story when you "turn the motor backwards"

@@jarettgros5821 Not sure how you can discern that they are ropes instead of cables but I know for certain there were a couple of chains. I've not used ropes a lot in towing so can't speak from experience on what they will do but can for chain and it will definitely put a hurting on you if not send you directing to the Pearly Gates.

I've had people tell me that chains don''t snap and fly like cables but I know for a fact that is wrong, as I watched it happen. Luckily I wasn't injured but our grader certainly was. Took out the grill and lodged itself a couple inches into the radiator.
Ken Adams they perform better than all the others even when they have less horsepower and they get better mpg than the rest and the reason u haven't seen em perform is because people don't have them on small farms they are designed for big farms and big machinery

Considering how deadly a snapped chain or cable is half of these are a damn good way to end up dead.
There's a reason they are mostly using ropes and not chains. The odds of a rope breaking in half is pretty slim compared to a chain.
