This is the longplay of Mega Man VIII, an action and platform game produced by Capcom, released for Playstation and Sega Saturn and known in Japan as Rockman 8: Metal Heroes. The game was released in Japan in 1996 for Playstation and 1997 in North America and Europe. The Sega Saturn version for all regions was released in 1997.
Mega Man 8 represents a new phase of the series, with a new graphic engine, introduction of cutscenes in FMV, fully animated and dubbed. The intro of the game shows Mega Man and Bass fighting, when Roll alerts Mega Man about a meteor that fell on Earth and had a strange and mysterious source of energy. Mega Man abandons the battle even taking advantage of the fight and when he reaches the place where the metoro was, the energy source had already disappeared and our hero discovers that the meteor fell on an island that was, precisely, Dr. Wily's hideout. In that same place, there was a robot seriously damaged and Mega Man takes that robot to Dr. Light to make the necessary repairs.
Dr Wily, of course, sends new robots to try to fight Mega Man. When Mega Man defeats these robots, they drop an orb, so our hero takes these orbs for Dr. Light to analyze but when these orbs come in contact with the damaged robot, make it go into a state of fury. The name of this robot is Duo, an alien robot that had been built to destroy all the evil energy generated by the orbs (which also make Dr. Wily's robots much more powerful).
All cleared up, it is time for our hero to leave to once again fight and put an end to Dr. Wily's evil plans. - เกม

The graphics in this game are incredible.
Also the opening is the Japanese version of rockman 8 called electrical communication.

This game is great. We love MegaMan. Also, MegaMan 9, MegaMan 10 (for Nintendo Wii) and MegaMan 11 (Nintendo Switch) will be playing and updating to 100%. Enjoy! All stages are cleared and you save the game.
That 1 shoot'em up section of Tengu Man's stage reminds me so much of R-type.🙂

Q: I have ended up playing this game with (kinda) hilarious English-dubbed audio (you know, the US edition). But the next time I played it, how do I switch its audio to the original (read: undubbed) Japanese one like you did? It would take years to find the solution to this Q. :(

Great vid! Do you know there is a Sega Saturn version for Mega Man 8 where the game got exclusive bosses like Cut Man and Wood Man?
He did a TH-cam poll recently whether viewers wanted to see play either the Playstation or Sega Saturn version. Nearly 97% the last time I looked wanted Raven to play the PlayStation version. I voted for him to play the Saturn version due to extra content like fighting Cut Man and Wood Man, but the Playstation version ended up winning in the poll.
I will also be playing the Sega Saturn version, but this one is only a few weeks away. After I launch Rockman and Forte, I will see different games before I go back to playing others from the Mega Man series. I appreciate your comments. Thank you very much.

Obrigado Fernando. Na verdade essa versão não é uma tradução propriamente dita (a qual é chamada Fan-Translation), mas sim Undub, ou seja, a versão americana com o audio original japonês, além de legendas nas cutscenes (que essas obviamente eram necessárias, já que as falas das versões americana e japonesa do jogo nessas cutscenes é diferente). Obrigado pelo feedback. Sempre que tiver undubs eu gravarei.
