The Hvar main square is the biggest square in Dalmatia, in Hvar you also have the oldest "popular" theatre in Europe. Hvar is known for good wines, lavanda. Stari Grad is the oldest town in Island od Hvar, there your have UNESCO protected greek garden parcels old 2400years old and still remaining the same.

Ya, really THE BEST CHOICE.
Well in comparison to other places Croatia is still cheaper,... but yes we do have certain places which are more expensive. You can always find a cheaper place in the tourist areas. Also nice video.

Hi Gabriel, thanks for these amazing videos you've done about Hvar and Croatia. They were great inspirations back in London weeks before arriving here. I was wondering if me and my wife could make the trip because covid situation and watching these videos made us dream to be here. Listening to the amazing cicadas and glaring to the torquoise sea. Visiting Dubrovink or just enjoying the hot sun or the pleasant breeze. So, yeah, many thanks. And keep the good work!

I know you don't do many gear videos since that isn't your primary audience, but if you end up in quarantine or otherwise locked down and can't get new travel footage, I'd be interested in a review of the DJI and why you like it better than the GoPro.

Hi Carmen, I don't plan to visit this trip because I was there three years ago. Here's my video: th-cam.com/video/m3SQDqXRwjg/w-d-xo.html My honest opinion is that I think Dubrovnik is a bit overrated. The old town is amazing but you can see it in an hour. Check out Split or Makarska (my latest video), a lot more to do in and around those cities or else one of the islands I went to. The islands were all really spectacular.
IMHO Dubrovnik is great for one day. Spend your time in Istra. Lots of old towns on top of a hill with walls all around. All within short distances. Roving, pula, motovoon, pazin, labin and plomin to name a few. Plitvice is also a must see. I stay in Rabac at about $60 per night overlooking the Adriatic. This for a fully furnished apartment. If you fly in Trieste Italy is your best bet. Milan is cheaper but six hours by car.
