Thanks Alan, after the engine was taken off it was basically a push bike, so I couldn't believe how many parts had to come off. I will need luck getting it back together. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff, The strip down went well, just a bit of prep work for powder coating. The frame work seems to be in good condition, looks to be a stunning bike when she's finished, as always a great video catch you soon Take care
Hi Shaun and thank you. I was amazed at how many parts there were for basically a push bike. I have done a little bit of powder coating today for next week's video. I will probably have to leave filming the Velosolex for a couple of weeks, as just watching me sanding and painting the will be very boring. I've got to get on and sort my father in law's Jaguar as long as the weather holds up. Take care, Jeff
Good luck with it all Jeff....I like the idea of powder coating as its harder wearing......looking forward to more in the restoration of the velosolex........maybe you ought to add an extension on the back of the shed and build a powder coating oven big enough to take the frame of the velo and moby frames!.......its something I have thought of myself as a domestic oven is really limiting!....take care
Thanks Adam, I filmed next week's video with a little bit of powder coating. There won't be too much to show after this until I get some some panels painted, otherwise it will be too boring. I am going to concentrate on the Jaguar for a couple of weeks which will give me some more time to get some powder coating done. I'm not sure the wife would like me taking any more of the garden, but a bigger powder coating set would be great. Take care, Jeff
Great strip down Jeff good luck on putting it back together 👍👍👍👍
