His story to Voldemort that his cover had to be absolute, to the point where he had to save Harry so Dumbledore wouldn’t suspect him.

If you took this approach to every story, moments wouldn't hit as hard because you know the author is playing fast and loose with a story's continuity. If this story wasn't about wizards, this would still be a plot hole if the main villain had heard one of his supposed lackies was aiding the hero from the beginning but still trusted him. This "just turn off your brain and enjoy the movie" mindset is why we have been having a critical reading literacy problem. She claims Nagini was a shapeshifting carnival lady from the beginning. She claims Horcruxes were designed from the beginning. What I liked about this take on Voldemort was how serious he was, and he just, sounds exactly like Tom Marvolo Riddle, sadistic, manipulative, and evil. I hate what they did to him in Movie 4 and later, this was THE perfect Voldemort.

There is only power, and those too weak to seek it. Together, we'll do extraordinary things. Just give me the Stone! [James and Lily Potter fade from the reflection] Harry: You liar! Voldemort: It's treason, then.
Snape wasn't a good person, with the books and movies combined snape did some good things but at the end of the day he didnt love lily, he simped and was obsessed with her and was a creep, was prejudiced against muggles like Lily and anybody who wasn't a Slytherin, called her a mudblood, is a grown man who tormented literal children like Ron, Hermione, Neville and especially Harry most of all The truth is if snape really loved Lily he would have treated Harry better but didn't all because he happened to be the son of James who he never even got a chance to meet and Rowling herself said if Snape didn't "love" Lily he wouldn't have done all the things he did to help defeat Voldemort, And he sniched to Voldemort about the prophecy which came back to bite him for the rest of his life because that's what caused lily and Jame's death, You know what they say, Golden snitches get stitches
This is the Voldemort we should have had. Ralph Fiennes is a good actor but I just think he didn’t fit the bill and overacted which made Voldemort more a joke.

It's not Harry's fault, when Voldemort returned to Hogwarts decades before this, he requested tobe a DADA teacher, but Dumbledore refused to offer him that role cause he suspected his intentions already, and Voldemort as retaliation cursed that job so that no DADA teacher would last longer than one year teaching at Hogwarts. The curse was broken and lifted once Voldemort died for good.
For the record, in case you didn't see it here, Quirrell was killed by Harry's touch. Lockhart was a fraud. Lupin wasn't fired. He resigned. Barty Crouch Jr. was posing as Moody. Umbridge got what she deserved!! And Snape took over for Dumbledore as Headmaster of Hogwarts. You call that by being fired by Harry? Most of these teachers brought it on themselves.

In the book, did Quirrell's hatred, ambition, and greed have anything to do with his suffering? Also, I would've said "I saw myself holding the stone." That's true and uninformative about having it. Voldemort couldn't say "He lies".

Because with the sorcerer's stone you had to keep making the elixir of life and Voldemort didn't want to rely solely on that.

If im not mistaken its because Lily's sacrifice forbade voldemort from touching harry. That's why voldy needed Harry's blood when he got his body back in the cemetery to disable this part of the magic.

If im not mistaken its because Lily's sacrifice forbade voldemort from touching harry. That's why voldy needed Harry's blood when he got his body back in the cemetery to disable this part of the magic.
