I've got the Nationwide Plus - £13pm account. If you travel abroad with a small family at least once a year, then YES it is Absolutely worth it due to the travel insurance cost, as insurance averages around £40-50pp for a few nights 👍🏽
Got the Club M (Virgin Money) packaged account because I love the travel insurance, breakdown cover, mobile & gadget insurance for £12.50 a month which I like I like the idea of being insured and always best it’s there just in case
Breakdown doesn't cover much at all. I've had a few of these accounts. Side note you get better deals with it built into the car insurance For me the best thing I did was cancel my "package" accounts. I've used mobile phone insurance only once ever and that was only because I had it, it would have been cheaper for me to get a new phone if I'm honest. Travel insurance? I go abroad once every 10 years if I'm lucky 😅
Question, if I open a joint account with my mom will any of the accounts cover both of us? Not a dependant (25), so just checking the best cost-effective way for breakdown and travel insurance.
Hello Andy, maybe you could give advice what to do or whom to ask about bank switch offer from Santander, I did everything right and didn't get bonus monet from them...Any idea how to contact Santander? Thanks

The Virgin Club M includes European breakdown cover also. "Green Flag will help you wherever you break down in the UK and Europe".
Remember to check breakdown/recovery T&Cs, not just the more obvious travel insurance, some are more basic than others, e.g don’t cover onward travel.

Beware most don't class your children as family once they are 18.
I want totally free banking, packages are of no interest to me.
Yes, I have the free version of the Nationwide Flex account. Good account, very happy with it.
