Taos was okay but Red River was awesome. The architecture and artwork was the best. I expected Taos to be the same. You were right to leave an area that you didn’t feel comfortable at. Always follow your gut. People on drugs are unpredictable. I hope you found a good place to eat breakfast. Road trips are the best. I have been on many including driving to Sedona from San Francisco. That was in the 90s. You made another fun video. Thank you for taking us along. See you next time

The building on the courthouse square you said was falling apart is Taos old Courthouse...under renovation. The Kachina Lodge has been closed for a long while, but not sure if they have even started any renovations.
It's a safe town, just a lot of hippie, transient types.

I don't blame those guys for hanging out in that courtyard, the roses, and flowers were gorgeous, a whole vibe. I could almost smell that honeysuckle.
That little dog I thought at first it was pot belly pig 😄
What a beautiful drive home, thanks for the ride.

Too bad the inn turned out to be a disappointment, did I hear crickets?
All in all it was an awesome road trip. Got to see and experience so many beautiful places, pueblo spanish style homes with tranquil and pretty landscapes, like you see in magazines.
The little black chihuahua can only spread sideways cause he's short. He did look loveable.❤
Oh, and thank you for being your silly self, brings smiles to so many. 😊

Thank you so much for your consistently, thoughtful comments, I really appreciate that! Yes crickets, funny how I dont hear things until playback.

I stayed at the Sagebrush inn one time, that was enough for me. Very disappointing. Also stayed at Taos inn, which was interesting but iffy at times. Prices have gone way way up. Thanks for another fun video 🎉

Man, I thought you would get some righteous bunkie. Seems one has to pay and pay for a decent hotel room. Thank you for taking me to The Undiscovered Country (for me). For whom the bells toll?

Nice Video. ( P.S., the prices of Motels, Hotels, B&B ; have gotten to be obscene in how much is charged for example one night, and how little is received. Even Motel 6, example in Espanola,N.M., wanted an extra $50.00 in Taxes and Fees.)[ Great Documentary 'The Corporation' , explains how the Laws protecting Corporations, do great damage to Countries,Freedoms!]

Hi from the westside of ABQ! This was a great day trip. Thanks for taking us along. Would you mind sharing the road/street name where you found those lovely courtyards? Years ago, when I visited Taos, I only saw the plaza and Kit Carsons home.
That brief glimpse of the dog at Pilar fooled me. I thought it was a pet pot bellied pig! Poor little guy! There's a spot along that canyon drive out of Taos (Quartz Landing?) where you can walk to the water's edge and actually get in the water. I'm overdue for a day trip up north. Thanks again🌻🌵

Thank you! Actually it was a couple day-plus trip. That court yard is just west of Toas Inn. Not very familiar with the mapping of taos, as you can guess from the last time I was there.

Next door to the Taos Inn (left) is the Arthur Manby house. In July 1929, he was beheaded by a disgruntled local for his unethical business practices to say the least.

Taos and Santa fe were nice places until California people moved in
