I was wondering why she looked as if she was gonna lose it, when she's one of the strongest ones to keep face and nothing was seeming that funny to do it to her.

The more I re-watch, the funnier it becomes. I couldn't even smile the first time I've seen it, bc stupid, but yeah, by the 15th time, there's a guaranteed chuckle and the stupid songs randomly popping inside your head for days.

Kate’s in the middle, so it makes a lot more sense for Cecily to rock the sleigh.
I want to know who thought to themselves, "raccoons who want to be women who sing and flirt with dudes... also, in the 50's at Christmas. Awesome idea!" Do they have a dartboard with random words on it?
This makes me wonder - would raccoons choose to eat garbage if they could have whatever they wanted as part of their Christmas wish (if "a Christmas wish" is a thing)? I'm pretty sure they'd rather have fresh food, if it were available to them, and wouldn't opt for yum yum garbage.
I guess A Raccoon can wish what a Raccoon WOULD wish, if a Raccoon could wish, Christmas Wishes. Ring-a ding-dong.

"Absurdist" humor is the hardest stuff to pull off, but when it works, I think it is the funniest. This one really worked for me, completely off the wall.
If every sketch was like this one or the Timecrowave sketch SNL would be a big hit in the UK.

I came to this video late, but I keep coming back to rewatch it. I love how it's mindful of how, even if raccoons could speak and had roughly human intelligence, they still wouldn't think like humans. Thus, Santa doesn't go down a chimney, he zoops down a fire tube.

This skit had that super bizarre quality to it that kind of made it feel like 70s SNL and I actually laughed quite a bit! Love weird, non-sensical sketches from these guys.
This actually has a huge potential to be a cute Christmas Film that we'll watch every time the season comes.

Don't know why I love this sketch so much. Maybe it's the Christmas theme, plus the tunes are catchy, plus there is this immediate postwar thing going on, plus the women keep twitching around like raccoons only you don't get that until the unexpected end.
Yea, thats my favorite part about this. Leading up to the end, you're like what the hell is up with these ladies? They talk funny, they act funny, they keep asking if they look right and want to eat garbage. . . .
But then it all makes sense once you find out they're raccoons. And then repeated watchings are even more hilarious cuz you can see whats going on.
