Luise, I can understand the turmoil in your mind, I know anxiety and how quickly we can take a downward spiral! To be honest, I have been worried about you because, although I know you have an amazingly creative mind, becoming a Tim Holtz maker would be quite overwhelming. It is wonderful and I know you are happy about it, it is a dream but, it is also a lot of pressure. In any case, I want you to know that your community, all of us, are here to support you, to listen to you and to encourage you! You have become a virtual friend to so many of us and have inspired us so much, I can’t image you not being there. I am so glad that in your darkest hour, Sasha was there, it was not mere coincidence but, your miracle! Dearest Luise, what you experienced is not unusual for someone with so many creative demands on your time. To me, creativity is like a well and in order to pull from that reservoir of creativity, you must spend time refilling it. That means making space for yourself. Your mind and body were telling you to take some time away from all of these demands so you can continue to do all that you do. I am always so amazed and inspired by your fearless approach to art ( throwing a journal in the washing machine just to see what would happen - still makes me laugh out loud ). I am sure the people you surround yourself with at home are advising you in the same way. We all love you no matter what. Wishing you a beautiful birthday this weekend and remember that only you can take care of YOU.

Oh dear Luise 🤗 Sounds like all the stress has been building up & finally overflowed. It’s a common problem these days with all of us & particularly perfectionists who expect huge amounts from ourselves. We rarely actually stop & do nothing to help us de-stress. We are busy doing, thinking, worrying, watching YT, reading, scanning information, stressing & even when we sleep (which is when we think we are relaxing) we’re busy processing our days & dreaming. So it is all too possible to never ever actually relax. It is really worth building 10, 15 minutes into our day where we do nothing but relax. There are heaps of ways of helping to get into the habit - practicing mindfulness (like focusing on how various body parts feel, or the feeling of the air around you); listening to relaxing music; listening to a short meditation app (Personally, even though I normally prefer male voices, I really find Caroline McCready’s Meditations relaxing, but it’s a personal thing so worth just finding someone you find relaxing); taking a hot bath for fun not to get clean; or just sitting & enjoying some sunshine, fresh air, the sound of the rain, a beautiful smell, a coffee etc. Get a massage, do some float tank therapy, some gentle stretching. Even just a short session of deep breathing, right into the base of your lungs (without a cigarette or vape). It doesn’t have to be long, but just has to be. Otherwise our stress levels just build & build & build & our bodies & mind will gradually force us to pay attention & take a break by making us sick, or cry or get angry or something that breaks through the constant activity & pressure. We have become so good at ignoring our bodies & minds, especially when some of the things causing us stress are good things, like becoming a Tim Holtz Maker. But just taking a little time each day to focus on relaxing will make a huge difference in your life. Until we actually physically relax, we don’t realise how much tension we carry all the time.

When I listen to you, it makes me think about my mom. When I was young, I never thought my parents had an accent. They did. You sound just like my mother. My father was Schwäbisch. I’m even more fond of Sascha now too. 😉
Oh Luise, you never have to apologise for how you are feeling. Everyone has times when they struggle in life, I am just so happy that Sasha was there in your time of need.
Many creative people hit slumps where they cannot imagine going forward. I’m very glad that you have found a way to continue. Just remember that you don’t have to have a new idea every time you create a video. You could perhaps go back and visit some of your older videos and try a new slant on them, you could make something super simple or you could just simply tell us that you need a break. We will all be here when you return.
I love your creativity BUT I love your sense of humour and your willingness to share yourself with us as though we are friends in real life. Real friends will support you through the good and bad of life.

I watch your channel all the time and boy I can relate to what you might be going through. So glad the universe put you in touch with someone who could fill your well with creativity again.And happy birthday sounds like a great time. I started creating junk journals recently and you give me a lot of inspiration. And hey stop apologizing for your English. It’s better than most and I envy you can speak multiple languages when I can only speak one. You’re way ahead of the game girl! You rock.
At your age I had a similar but different experience. I read a book written by a medium who helped solve murder cases. The book was so inspiring in the way that she had been afraid to use her gifts and she gained the confidence to go for it. It actually influenced me to quit my job and become self-employed. I did it successfully for 16 years until I retired early last year. It was the scariest but best decision I ever made. Sometimes you are sent an angel in some form to help you change your life or rise above a hardship. I am humbled by your ability to share your emotions and struggles so openly. You are an amazing artist and it seems human being as well.

Just thinking what might happen if you mixed the dry instant coffee granules with grit paste then stenciled... hmmm... might have to try that. I enjoy watching everything you do because you create so beautifully and freely. I always like seeing successes, but I also like seeing the 'oopses' - we all have them and it's interesting to see how people overcome them or how they find alternatives and make it all work in the end. Wow, when I commented first I hadn’t seen the whole video yet, but after I saw the digitals I thought it was genius, they are really great, awesome looking exactly looks like the embossed version. Thanks a lot for considering the fact that there are some artists that might not have a ability to make this in person or even they have the embossing machine but they don’t have enough time to make such an amazing piece

Dear Luise, I haven’t known you very long. And now it seems I came to know & love you and your INCREDIBLE TALENT during a difficult time for you. That was a surprise to hear because I could not tell at all that you were struggling. Your ideas seemed to flow so effortlessly! You actually helped me through a very difficult time. In November my husband was diagnosed with leukemia. It was the scariest time of my life. Watching you, gave me some joy during that time. You even made me laugh on days I didn’t think I could laugh. I so understand. Sometimes our mind gets us to a point of despair that we feel we cannot get out of. I lost my daughter at age 8 from Cystic Fibrosis in 1987. Which threw my life as I knew it into such a dark place. A year later I suffered horrible Panic attacks and went to a counselor for some help. He explained how our minds and bodies can get us into a place in a spit second that we don't know how to get ourselves out of it. One thing he said was that our minds and bodies are like a well we give out a cup of water here and another cup there millions of times a day and nothing is refilling our well. He taught me how to take the time I need for myself and fill my well back up. I often think about you and all you do. My goodness TWO videos one in your own language and one in English. I can't imagine how hard that must be and a stress just to get those videos made each time. God has given you such a brilliant mind and such a deep sense of creativity that you should give yourself credit for. And please give yourself the time you need to replenish the water in your well. You GIVE and GIVE to us and I want you to know I for one appreciate it so much. You are not confusing. It is always a pleasure to follow you! You are so loved and respected. THEN...something or someone comes into our lives that changes everything in a second. I'm thankful for that experience you had with him. He was meant to touch you in that way I believe. We all go through a dry patch in our lives. We go into the desert, so to speak, for awhile. Those are times, I have found, to slow down and reflect spiritually. It sounds like you did that and from that experience, now have a new supportive friend. I'm so happy for you.
Girl, I love who you are. Your deep outlook on life for sure. It matches my own on so many levels. Its always been fun watching you and seeing your artistic development improving each day during the years. Improve to the point of being recognized as a craftsperson worthy of recognition by an internationally well known artistic maker. That can be exciting and joyful for sure. But as time goes on, you may feel that you need to continue to impress and awe this person or persons. To stay on top so you won't lose what you now have acheived. And that can lead to brain block. But just be you, Luise. Do what you love. Let go of any fear, if there is any, and know that whatever you do will lead you to wherever you are meant to go. Don't ever try to fight that and all will be fine. And if you get stuck on ideas, then get a bag, put in it some different ideas...poem lines, nature items, historical ideas, etc. Then do a video that challenges us all on whatever you pull out of the bag. We then make something from the prompt and post pics on Instagram or something like that. Shared ideas can always spark new ideas. It can be fun! Anyway, love you, friend! Happy Birthday again!
