What’s the point of having a background layer canvas if it will change with the image when you crop it ?

When I cut and paste something from one photo and put it in another, how do I change the size of the thing I've cut and pasted????

After you've cut and pasted something into a new photo, you'd want to use the Arrange or Transform tools to resize it. Press the "A" key on your keyboard to activate the Arrange tool, then click and drag the handles that appear around the pasted layer to resize it. Hope that helps!

A friendly tip for these videos... you should show the pixelmator app fully expanded.
No need to show the desktop & app icons at the bottom. It'll also make it easier to view on a smaller device.

Doesn't tell me how to increase the image size as it appears on the screen. Most of these Pixelmator Pro videos tell you what you can do but are not so good when it comes to how to do it.
