So for $1160 (shipped) you have to take off the skis and side panel of one sled to still barely fit it in, risk damaging both sleds and the truck getting them in or out, for some very, very minor convenience. Go buy a $300 tilt trailer if you already have a truck. I've even seen sled decks for $500-700.
I get it, do what you gotta do... but I'd just scoop a used 8'x10' tilt deck sled trailer off craigslist or marketplace, there's like a dozen of them listed right now for around 500 bucks in my area. Work smarter not harder...
What ever it takes!! Hats off to you my friend for thinking outside of the box.

Pros and cons to the trailer alternative.

Subscribed for future updates! The future is now, who’s got the time or money to deal with maintaining another trailer?
Those ski rubbers must be absolutely trashed. I've never been able to get a ski mounted that easily on my Summits.

I did find one, different strategy with advantages and disadvantages

Just buy a trailer.
Decided to take the plunge and give it a shot

Looks like a hot mess… lower than a sled deck though
Seems like a lot of work time and possibly some harsh words and pinched fingers. trailers can be spendy I get it.
Definitely not user friendly that’s for sure I’d save my money and buy a trailer of some sort.
LOL this seems like way too much bullshit to deal with. You can buy a used trailer for under a $1000.00
Took your advice on the used trailer. Not sure which is better.
