Thank you so much for this video. Very encouraging. Fiancé will be coming from Philippines to the states hopefully wiser round the holidays. I never considered moving there because I am visually impaired - can I drive, etc. When I’ve gone there, the choices have been expensive hotel or her house with no air conditioning. But, in a high-rise building probably around $500 a month?? That could change everything. In what part of the country is that? Would love to check out an ex-pat Community!
Try to go at the beaches in Palawan and Batangas, they are gorgeous and pristine

I just rented a place on a beautiful island for $573 for the YEAR! Not only is it cheap but it is in a beautiful location. I must admit, my fiancé organised it! There is a foreigner price and a local price!

How are you able to login to your US bank and credit card accounts? I don’t know why no one can tell me how it’s done. The main problem I see would be receiving the code that they want to send to my US phone on record before I can login. Do I have to keep my phone set on roaming for the rest of my life? That will be expensive. How do expats do it? Help please.
My phone has wi fi calling. Have them email you the number, some of my accounts have a fingerprint log in
Did you keep you US telephone number and pay for it?? Because T mobile has international call and pay separately.
Do you have philippine telephone number and pay separately??

Try living here. Your on holiday mindset. You can not complain here about anything ...even when you are right. No hot water. Your problem. I ordered pepperoni and you sent me Hawaiian. Your problem. I need an ID. Okay....you come back in 2 weeks. But I drove 5 hours to get here. You come back. Lets all cut the BS. If you take away the woman than nobody in their right mind would live here. Tons of videos talking about the beaches and lovely locals. All nonsense. Ive lived here for 16 years and never met a single man that wasnt here for the ladies. Oh that's right. Your here for the never ending summer with 90% humidity, bumper to bumper traffic, and tasteless Filipino food. Stop it already

I have just spent a month in Dumaguete, Cebu and Makati...and I loved it! Great country, smiling, helpful and friendly people., beautiful lanscapes, cheap and delicious food. I swear it...I will return🙂

"As long as you've got the money", isn't that everywhere though? I know work class people from New York City, Miami, London and so on who earn $100,000 thousand dollars a year and still struggle with bills due to the cost of living in those areas

Great information. I was stationed at Clark Air Base Philippines 🇵🇭 back in 1991. Plan on returning and retire in the 🇵🇭 Philippines next year in 2025.

1. Get nickle n dimed to go to the beack locations and after the transferrs its like 6hrs of trvael including airport.
2. There is no street food scene and the food is below average for SEA
3. That building youre staying in is Knightsbridge in a studio, a block away from squatters and prostys every night
Filipinos are kind but there's Prons and Cons, i Move to the US soon one thing im gonna miss in the Ph The Crowd😅, its Fun when Going Outside so many people bonding and yeah the Foods Like Adobo everything

@@pinoyfloyd Cebu is a nice place to visit. It has some of the best food, especially the Lechon. And if you go to Southern Cebu, I suggest trying out their Torta or Tableya. You can also visit the Whale Sharks in Oslob. Though, I wish you good luck sleeping at night with the Karaokes. ^^

Ayyy Tacloban! My wife is from Leyte, and fun fact my great uncle fought in the battle of leyte during ww2 so i like to joke that im the 2nd person in my family to visit the island ^_^
One thing that might be another benefit for a lot of people is that many Filipinos are also fluent in English. It can be a lot less scary for someone to move or even just visit another country if they know they'll be able to use their native language.

Try sometimes the diningding that is Illokano cuisine that is cook a mix veggies like, okra, eggplant, squash, string beans,sauté onion and garlic, shrimp paste, and a little bit of pork with a pork fat, that is so delicious and also try the sinaing na tulingan here in Batangas that is cooked from a clay pot and cooked from several hours in a fire woods that is super delicious at all, and also letchon Cebu that is heaven at all
