Actually, we, civil engineers, while in college, has made researches on transportation here in our country. What we found out, are serious problems that the officials have made a statement to say, "hindi na masosolve yan". But, this is a good documentary for the awareness of every Filipino. Not only in Manila, but for the rest of the major cities in PH.

      "To Paranoid Dilawans about Debts"
Philippines haved the lowest debt among this South East Asian countries big economies (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and even Vietnam.) also Philippine Debt to GDP ratio% is on good condition.
Some Train transportation that underconstruction in The Philippines are North South Commuter Railway, Metro Manila Subway, Mindanao Railway, PNR to Bicol, Subic to Clark Railway etc, this are mixed debts so expect that Philippine debt will be increased through years. But expect also that this train lines will boast your economy for the next next years, just like what happen to Malaysia,Singapore and Thailand(they haved higher debts, but they haved better infrastructures/train lines)
This is logic, dont be paranoid about debt, debt is not totally bad, its ok as long as our credit rating is good.
Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore haved big debts compare to Philippines, because their debts is used to their train lines/ infrastructure projects since 2000s.
While Philippines just acquired high debt cost at the moment for these big infrastructure projects in the country.

From airport, walang convenient way to go to city proper (not even grab) unlike sa ibang Asian countries na connected ang train system sa airport or may dedicated bus routes to/from various city destinations.
Train system mismo, hindi well integrated - from LRT to MRT and PNR so paano pa integrate yung other modes of transportation like bus transit.
Yung bus system dapat may dedicated bus stops (with shelter and bus route). Based on my experience mas nadalian ako magnavigate dahil din siguro mas may English.
If I was a tourist, I won't even dare travel within Metro Manila not taking a grab ride / rental car.
LOL

I agree what you said.

More convenient at less hassle dito. For more than a year Hindi ko kinailangang maglagay ng padlock sa zipper ng bag ko or maging wary sa mga mandurukot at holdaper SA mga public transport. Mas Malinis, mas safe at mas efficient.
