I work at the Hospital pharmacy here in canada. Pharmacist has all the right to prescribe, change prescription, substitute, even override doctors prescribe medication especially kung may contraindication between prescribe drugs. Ang Doktor inaral ang sakit ng pasyente at mag prescribe ng gamot. Ang Pharmacist pinag-aralan ang GAMOT para sa sakit ng pasyente. 💉✌️💊 😊
as a physician, i appreciate pharmacists like him who has knowledge on the medications that they are dispensing. and yes po. pharmacists are allowed to give insights about the medicine they are dispensing. hindi lang po doctor. medical advise sa medicine information magkaiba naman yun. i appreciate pharmacists who actually tells patient the possible side effects of the medication being given.

I'm a nurse and I salute all pharmacist out there. Kayo yung tumutulong din samin sa pagprepare ng mga gamot. Nagcocorrect if may questionable dosage na order ang doctors. Personally, I have friends who are pharmicists so alams na this. Hehe.

I think dahil na din sa mga pharmacist assistant kaya bumaba ang tingin ng mga tao sa mga pharmacist. Dahil seldom interaction ng mga taong bumibili sa mga pharmacist. Dapat maging standard din na once bibili ka sa botika ng gamot ay makaka encounter din ng pharmacist ang patient/buyer to be more educated. Dito kasi satin ang common is pagbili ng gamot tapos na ang interaction. Esp mga otc. Although pagdating sa mga rx meds need ng reseta at least dapat nakakaisap pa rin ang mga pharmacist to check if tama ba or other alternative na gamot that has same effects na hjndi ganun kamahal. kasi mostly ang reseta ng mga doctors dito satin ay mga kumbaga endorsement nila since yun yung pinapabenta sa kanila ng mga med rep. i have a cousin who is currently a doctor and neighbor na med rep.

I am a registered Pharmacist too and I am proud of Arshie 👍 This profession is not easy. Took us 4 to 5 years to study medical terminologies, the pharmacological effects of drugs/medicines in our system, chemical formulas and all. We are not doctors who are authorized to prescribe medicines to patients but we know everything about medicines and how they work. We deserve the same respect as doctors because both are noble medical professions. Hindi lang kami “taga-benta” ng gamot. We have licenses because we passed the Board Exams. Just pisses me off whenever I hear some people say “taga-benta or tindera ng gamot”. We are more than that. And we deserve the same respect as Doctors, Nurses, Medical Technologists. Know your limitations... Kahit na gaano ka na katagal as pharmacist at kahit naging familiar ka na sa mga gamot na ibinibigay sa isang sakit..... at the end of the day ... pharmacist pa rin kayo at HINDI MEDICAL DOCTORS... First of all, wala kayong karapatan na magbigay ng medical advice at wala kayong PERSONAL INTERACTION sa mga pasyente kaya hindi nyo alam kung bakit ibinibigay ng isang medical doctor ang isang particular na gamot... Ang duty nyo ay ipaalam kung paano inumin ang gamot na PRESCRIBED NG MEDICAL DOCTOR, kung ano ang interaction etc..... but never magpalit or magsuggest kung ano ang mas magaling na gamot....
@ Mimosa they simply called Pharmacist having a degree in Pharmacy or doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD). I have not heard of an apothecary. It’s like going back way when.
@@heman345 do you need a prescription when you buy any medication? Because if not you simply rely on the knowledge bank of the person behind the counter. Having said that with out a prescription it is dicey.
Pharmacist is highly respected here in the US. They always explain the medication use, side effect, drug-drug interaction and contraindication better than the doctor. They educate the consumer on how to take medication safely. Our doctors always consult our pharmacist very often. This pharmacist knows what he's doing.

I’m a nurse here in UK, the pharmacist are better when it comes to medication. When I’m not sure of the medication that prescribed by the doctor, I always clarify with the pharmacist. My brother is a doctor himself. Continue your good work and share your knowledge because it is badly needed by our fellow Pinoy. Education is the best that we can share without payment though we paid a lot to earn our degree.Salute to you!!!More blessings!
Agree,here in UK ,clinical pharmacist advise the doctors with regards to medication. The degree itself has integrated Masters degree and have their own regulated professional council. They are liscence to prescribe drugs and will be soon the first point of consultation before seeing the GP. I would rather take an advise from a Pharmacist than a junior doctor or not so junior( no offence meant) with regards to medication. What drug, effects, side effects, antidote and administration is their bread and butter
The Pharmacist knows best when it comes to medication . Here in Canada they are highly respected by the doctors and the source of information especially on the actions, adverse reactions , side effects and other medicine related information. Every single patient meets with the Pharmacist upon admission and discharge in the hospital. Then collaborate with the MD if there are medications that are contraindicated etc. Kudos to Larshie👍

Tama ang ginagawa niya bilang pharmacist. Dto sa US, meron consult sa pharmacist especially kung first time mo i- take yung gamot. The pharmacist also alarm the doctors if they forgot a patient's allergy to meds. In other words, the medical field are helping hand in hand for treatment and safety of a patient.

As one of the health professionals, what arshie is doing is simply give an advice to people about drugs. He's a pharmacist, graduated as BS in pharmacy po. so he knows the drugs he's talking about. Yn po ang pingaralan nia. Kahit nurse po can give advice. The only thing they cannot prescribe medicines as dr's do.

eto ang problema sa philippine medical setting masyado natin nilagay sa tuktok ng pyramid ang mga doctor/physician nalimutan natin ung mga ibag medical professionals na bumubuo ng pyramid kung ano yung roles nila tulad nyan pharmacist tlaga ang may say pag dating sa gamot sila lang ang medical professionals na pwede mag question sa reseta ng doctor. Im hoping na one day mamulat at matuto ang mga pinoy irespeto ang mga medical professionals and at the same time maunawaan yung field of expertise nila hindi lang ng pharmacist kundi pati nurse, medtech, radtech, nutritionist, Physical & Respiratory Therapist, pschologist and etc. kung wala sila hindi magagawa at magagampanan ng tama ang trabaho ng doctor.

As a pharmacist, nakakaproud naman yung ginagawa ni Arshie. Sana maappreciate ng mga tao ang mga pharmacist sa Pinas hindi po biro ang mga pinagdaanan namin bago maging mga propesyunal. Kaya po yung iba nagdedecide na umalis ng bansa because yung treatment dito sa Pinas sa mga pharmacists, nurses, medical technologists, etc iba talaga sa mga doctors. Sana lang magupgrade naman ang healthcare system sa Pinas.
as a current nursing student, isa sa pinaka nag sastruggle ako and my classmates na subj right now is pharmacology, talagang ilang beses ako nag break down because of that and to think na hirap na hirap na kami dito what more sa pharma students. Narealize ko talaga kung gaano kahirap ang journey before ka maging pharmacist and nakakasad lang na hindi sila nakakakuha ng same respect like sa doctors. And may iba na talagang ni lolook down ka pa dahil for them nagtitinda ka lang ng gamot and dinidisregard na totally yung profession mo and yung mga pinagaralan mo before. What makes me sad pa eh hindi rin nalalayo trato ng mga tao sa mga nurses :(( minsan napapaisip nalang rin ako na para saan bat ako nagpapakahirap pag aralan tong mga to after makita kung paano tratuhin ng mga tao sa pinas ang mga nurse. Although not all naman pero mostly talaga doctors lang nirerespeto nila then yung mga nasa other medical field parang di na nag eexist.

I work at the Hospital pharmacy here in canada. Pharmacist has all the right to prescribe, change prescription, substitute, even override doctors prescribe medication especially kung may contraindication between prescribe drugs. Ang Doktor inaral ang sakit ng pasyente at mag prescribe ng gamot. Ang Pharmacist pinag-aralan ang GAMOT para sa sakit ng pasyente. 💉✌️💊 😊

as a physician, i appreciate pharmacists like him who has knowledge on the medications that they are dispensing. and yes po. pharmacists are allowed to give insights about the medicine they are dispensing. hindi lang po doctor. medical advise sa medicine information magkaiba naman yun.

I think dahil na din sa mga pharmacist assistant kaya bumaba ang tingin ng mga tao sa mga pharmacist. Dahil seldom interaction ng mga taong bumibili sa mga pharmacist. Dapat maging standard din na once bibili ka sa botika ng gamot ay makaka encounter din ng pharmacist ang patient/buyer to be more educated. Dito kasi satin ang common is pagbili ng gamot tapos na ang interaction.
Esp mga otc. Although pagdating sa mga rx meds need ng reseta at least dapat nakakaisap pa rin ang mga pharmacist to check if tama ba or other alternative na gamot that has same effects na hjndi ganun kamahal. kasi mostly ang reseta ng mga
doctors dito satin ay mga kumbaga endorsement nila since yun yung pinapabenta sa kanila ng mga med rep. i have a cousin who is currently a doctor and neighbor na med rep.

I am a registered Pharmacist too and I am proud of Arshie 👍 This profession is not easy. Took us 4 to 5 years to study medical terminologies, the pharmacological effects of drugs/medicines in our system, chemical formulas and all. We are not doctors who are authorized to prescribe medicines to patients but we know everything about medicines and how they work. We deserve the same respect as doctors because both are noble medical professions. Hindi lang kami “taga-benta” ng gamot. We have licenses because we passed the Board Exams. Just pisses me off whenever I hear some people say “taga-benta or tindera ng gamot”. We are more than that. And we deserve the same respect as Doctors, Nurses, Medical Technologists. In the US we are called Apothecaries. For those who do not know this, search the internet to educate yourselves. Salute to you Arshie for uplifting our noble profession 👍❤️

Know your limitations... Kahit na gaano ka na katagal as pharmacist at kahit naging familiar ka na sa mga gamot na ibinibigay sa isang sakit..... at the end of the day ... pharmacist pa rin kayo at HINDI MEDICAL DOCTORS... First of all, wala kayong karapatan na magbigay ng medical advice at wala kayong PERSONAL INTERACTION sa mga pasyente kaya hindi nyo alam kung bakit ibinibigay ng isang medical doctor ang isang particular na gamot... Ang duty nyo ay ipaalam kung paano inumin ang gamot na PRESCRIBED NG MEDICAL DOCTOR, kung ano ang interaction etc..... but never magpalit or magsuggest kung ano ang mas magaling na gamot....
@ Mimosa they simply called Pharmacist having a degree in Pharmacy or doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD). I have not heard of an apothecary. It’s like going back way when.

Pharmacist is highly respected here in the US. They always explain the medication use, side effect, drug-drug interaction and contraindication better than the doctor. They educate the consumer on how to take medication safely. Our doctors always consult our pharmacist very often. This pharmacist knows what he's doing.

I’m a nurse here in UK, the pharmacist are better when it comes to medication. When I’m not sure of the medication that prescribed by the doctor, I always clarify with the pharmacist. My brother is a doctor himself. Continue your good work and share your knowledge because it is badly needed by our fellow Pinoy. Education is the best that we can share without payment though we paid a lot to earn our degree.Salute to you!!!More blessings!

Agree,here in UK ,clinical pharmacist advise the doctors with regards to medication.
The degree itself has integrated Masters degree and have their own regulated professional council.
They are liscence to prescribe drugs and will be soon the first point of consultation before seeing the GP.
I would rather take an advise from a Pharmacist than a junior doctor or not so junior( no offence meant) with regards to medication. What drug, effects, side effects, antidote and administration is their bread and butter
The Pharmacist knows best when it comes to medication . Here in Canada they are highly respected by the doctors and the source of information especially on the actions, adverse reactions , side effects and other medicine related information. Every single patient meets with the Pharmacist upon admission and discharge in the hospital. Then collaborate with the MD if there are medications that are contraindicated etc. Kudos to Larshie👍

Tama ang ginagawa niya bilang pharmacist. Dto sa US, meron consult sa pharmacist especially kung first time mo i- take yung gamot. The pharmacist also alarm the doctors if they forgot a patient's allergy to meds. In other words, the medical field are helping hand in hand for treatment and safety of a patient.

As one of the health professionals, what arshie is doing is simply give an advice to people about drugs. He's a pharmacist, graduated as BS in pharmacy po. so he knows the drugs he's talking about. Yn po ang pingaralan nia. Kahit nurse po can give advice. The only thing they cannot prescribe medicines as dr's do.

One time nagkamali ng reseta ung doctor sa hipag ko. Nagpunta sya sa mercury drug.tapos kinonfirm ng pharmasist na mali ung naibigay na reseta sa kanya. Instead na para sa tyan, parang sa ibang sakit pala un. She was saved by the pharmacist. Kaya bumalik sya sa doctor at nagsorry ung doctor mali daw naisulat. Hayy 😑

@@heman345 here in the uk there are lots of different types of over the counter medicines for pain…for allergies/hay fever etc….pharmacist do not or can not prescribe medications it’s illegal nagtatanong ako ng appropriate medications that does not requires doctor’s prescription like for headache,hay fever

im a nurse i have faith with the pharmacist big help with nurses and doctors in the hospital ,even doctors coordinate with the pharmacist regarding patient's medications,we have medication grid to follow for compatibilities sometimes if we are busy no time to look for the grid we call the pharmacist .
eto ang problema sa philippine medical setting masyado natin nilagay sa tuktok ng pyramid ang mga doctor/physician nalimutan natin ung mga ibag medical professionals na bumubuo ng pyramid kung ano yung roles nila tulad nyan pharmacist tlaga ang may say pag dating sa gamot sila lang ang medical professionals na pwede mag question sa reseta ng doctor. Im hoping na one day mamulat at matuto ang mga pinoy irespeto ang mga medical professionals and at the same time maunawaan yung field of expertise nila hindi lang ng pharmacist kundi pati nurse, medtech, radtech, nutritionist, Physical & Respiratory Therapist, pschologist and etc. kung wala sila hindi magagawa at magagampanan ng tama ang trabaho ng doctor.
the pharmacist is the most knowledgeable about drugs and medications omg in other countries it is the pharmacist who gives advise n right doses n drug interactions to pts even doctors they consults to pharmacist regarding dosage n interactions . respect each profession. Pharmacist are qell respected. in other countries.

I really love Arshie. I've been a follower sa Twitter since pandemic then sa Tiktok. Npkahelpful nman tlga kasi ng mga contents nya dahil informative but at the same time, entertaining. Pinaka gusto ko sa contents nya ung may natutulungan sya na mahihirap na bumibili ng gamot.
Laking tulong po ng mga pharmacists kase ung reseta hindi maintindihan minsan dahil sa sulat khit naipaliwanag ng doctor ..nirerewrite po nila kung ilang ml or tablet, ilang beses sa isang araw at pinapaliwanag kung dapat nakakain na bago inumin ang gamot...

As a pharmacist, nakakaproud naman yung ginagawa ni Arshie. Sana maappreciate ng mga tao ang mga pharmacist sa Pinas hindi po biro ang mga pinagdaanan namin bago maging mga propesyunal. Kaya po yung iba nagdedecide na umalis ng bansa because yung treatment dito sa Pinas sa mga pharmacists, nurses, medical technologists, etc iba talaga sa mga doctors. Sana lang magupgrade naman ang healthcare system sa Pinas.
as a current nursing student, isa sa pinaka nag sastruggle ako and my classmates na subj right now is pharmacology, talagang ilang beses ako nag break down because of that and to think na hirap na hirap na kami dito what more sa pharma students. Narealize ko talaga kung gaano kahirap ang journey before ka maging pharmacist and nakakasad lang na hindi sila nakakakuha ng same respect like sa doctors. And may iba na talagang ni lolook down ka pa dahil for them nagtitinda ka lang ng gamot and dinidisregard na totally yung profession mo and yung mga pinagaralan mo before. What makes me sad pa eh hindi rin nalalayo trato ng mga tao sa mga nurses :(( minsan napapaisip nalang rin ako na para saan bat ako nagpapakahirap pag aralan tong mga to after makita kung paano tratuhin ng mga tao sa pinas ang mga nurse. Although not all naman pero mostly talaga doctors lang nirerespeto nila then yung mga nasa other medical field parang di na nag eexist.
