I had several traumatic experiences with a second hand backpack I bought from a same kind of store. The guy seated next to me turned out to be a holdaper. Hiniwa nya ang bag ko and I actually felt his hand inside the bad. Nothing was taken by the way. After a while, habang nagaabang ng FX pauwi (it was morning but a weekend and just before a holiday so wala masyado tao) nilapitan naman ako ng holdaper and asked me to give him my bag at knifepoint. Binigay ko na, pero no idea what he was thinking or maybe I was lucky, he opened it and just took my mobile then returned the bag to me and left. After that I never used the bag and never bought anything from a second hand shop. Nun may napanood ako na horror movie about a second hand bag, naalala ko ang bag ko and mga scary experiences ko with it.

The beginning of being a Hoarder... Nice Docs Atom. 👍
In japan There is what we called lonely death. I think all the things that owned by the dead person are sold in the public, once it is not claimed by their relatives, because the house/apartment is also sold to someone.
Not all but maybe some. I also watched that documentary.
True ! HOTOKE SAN ni Natta kara ! ( Nam Myoho Renge Kyo )
Napanood ko din yung documentary about that...Dying Alone
What I need is what I have.
I love what he said on the last part na hindi dapat ang materyal na bagay ang magpapasaya sa atin. Ang galing talaga ng childhood crush ko. :)
pero minsan yung mga secondhand may dala ding kamalasan, yun bang may dark story behind the item. kaya nakakatakot din bumili.
Oe mu nman ....hahaha
This is the pinnacle definition of consumerism!
Joshua Jireh Marasigan people need to adapt minimalist lifestyle or being intentional .Hindi puro nlng bili ng bili basta sale kahit hindi naman kailangan
When a hobby of collecting used items becomes hoarding...🙁
simula nung unang dokumentaryo nya sobrang solid talaga
They bought it here in covent garden in uk. Praktikal lang. mura maganda useful.
I live in Tokyo and I'm actually considering the same business
Interested 😊 send to the philippines

A violin with the year 1737 if it is authentic could be one of the Stradivarius.

Tom Acepcion wala naman documentaries abs? Hahahaha lol
Panalo talaga ang gma pagdating sa documentaries
This is the best in GMA, their documentaries wherein other networks don't have!
They had this kind of documentary before... surplus auctioning naman ang focus dati.
hahaha yes! For wholesalers
i love this. Magandang aral po ito sa lahat if you may allow I will capture the end part of the video for emphasis to our kababayan and to all who need to understand the importance of taking care of our environment
Kahit sale or sobrang mura kung di mo nman gagamitin or kailangan yung bagay ay mahal parin po yan.
Nakaka adik talaga mamili sa japan surplus.pag may di ak9 mabiling nagustuhan ko di ako makatulog.😂😂
Thanks, Atom for educating the viewers like myself about surplus. All I thought SURPLUS was oversupply of materials but never second-hand 😊 Now I know... The sad part, though, is the rest of the unwanted stuffs will end up in the landfills or incinerators which pollute the environment.
27:04 the essence of this video
I saw a documentary in Japan on used items where most of the items came from the people who died without a family.
Daming namamatay?
@@bidyo1365 "most of the items"
Trooh ! Totoo po yan.
No one.
Literally no one.
