Adding the ps4 backward compatibility with upgrades, upgrades to psvr2. This is worth it for me and I'm glad I got my pre-ordered. For now I'm just playing on my pc since I already wiped my launch ps5 since my wife wanted it.

Was playing cs 1.3 at lan parties and before all that my first pc I had was a compaq presario which I had to find a video card to make it work so I can make Max Payne look better. So yes I have a pc and I'm getting a ps5 pro, oh this might upset you but I also have a Nintendo switch a series x and an arcade bartop running retrobat.
I really don’t understand the outrage about the PS5 Pro. It’s not like the base PS5 is being discontinued. If you don’t think the price or specs make it worth the purchase, don’t buy it. Simple. As for me, I bought the PS4 Pro and will be getting a PS5 Pro as well. It will cost roughly $350-400 after trading in my PS5 digital and will be the most advanced console for another 3 years.
With that mentality, you’re going to let Sony freely start walking all over us and get away with them charging up more and more by the time the PS6 launches.

Not worth it, mate. Nothing that you are saying costs almost 1,000 dollars with taxes. The PS5 already boosts backward compatability games. The boost from the Pro is miniscule. With that said, the PS6 will be around 2026 to 2028. Trust and believe Sony is going to cut the support of the PS5 short. The PS5 Pro is only for people who haven't bought a PS5 yet. But going from a PS5 to a PS5 Pro is literally a waste of money for this that the PS5 can already do. The Pro is only a bit better. Not by a huge margin. If you are a PC gamer, you should know that going from a GTX 4080 to a 4090 is not leaps and bounds, apart from jist higher FPS. Bit games are already OK on the current PS5. The fact is the PRO is not going to play every game at 60fps, the only games that will get boosted to 60fps are the games that Sony chooses to optimize a bit. The only reason for it is to sell the PRO. Most games will run 55fps and less. Not locked 60 fps.
Appreciate your input! And you are correct, it may not be leaps and bounds, but you can say the same thing about almost every piece of technology these days. Consider the iPhone and how many people line up to get the new one every year. It is the minor advancements that people can and have the right to appreciate. It may not be for everyone, but there are definitely people out there who would appreciate the differences, never mind how subtle they are. Again correct in saying that games are already great on a PS5 and if you have a PS5 already, you may not be the target market as I already mentioned both points in the video. The minority that actually do, put their previous cellphone as a down-payment. With that said, the average cellphone users keep their cellphones at least 5 to 10 years or until they break it. The same applies with Android, which lasts a heck of a lot longer than Apple. Also, a cellphone does a heck of a lot more than a console does because they are also used for school and business. People using the cellphone excuse to justify a price or that a console deserves to be supported are just following the narrative. Only young people do not understand the value of things and are the ones already trying to have the new stuff while miss spending their money. I can guarantee you parents are not buying their children an Apple phone every year. And that's a fact. If someone doesn't own a PS5, I would say ok to get a Pro. But even then, the PS5 should've been $499/$599. Not $800+ because taxes are pushing the console to $1k on purchase. Scalpers are going to have real shit on their hands this time around because gamers know what Sony is doing.
