Purchased this brush guard after trashing the grill on my daughter’s Kubota L 3301 while pushing brush with the bucket. The item arrived in a timely fashion and was installed quickly thanks to this video and the fact that you included the drill bit to make the holes for the upper part of the guard, the tip about using a lubricant while drilling also was ver helpful. And, as if that was not enough, you put the first letter oh her last name fabricated onto the guard which I took full responsibility for, she was very impressed. Now, if you could just fabricate a grill guard for our ‘02 TC40 D, I would be even more grateful.
Ordered one for my L4060 and couldn't be happier. Fit perfectly and the install was very simple. Only 2 holes to drill which is less then many other grill makers. Grill guard is sturdy and looks great. Messick's hit a homerun with this.
On 4/29/23 I order one for my MX5800, it came in today it fits perfectly. The installation was very easy. The fit and finish is perfect and also the packing is great. I would to say Messick's thank you for great service.
This is perfect! Everyone else's looks overbuilt, under engineered and way too expensive. Using the pivot bolts and the front of the guard for support is a great idea. Bought one today for my LX2610.
Thanks Neal - Wendy helped me get mine at the Ritner Hwy location. BTW, the parts department at your Ritner Hwy location are outstanding folks. Thanks to the Messick's team.
Great product. I’ve been wanting to add a grapple to my lx2610, but was afraid of the damage possibilities to the grill. I also like how easy and thoughtful the install was.
Interesting Neil. My Messicks grille guard for the LX2610 went on the inside and had to be drilled from inside to outside. After rewatching the video I'm wishing my LX unit went over the grille frame for more structural support rather than inside the frame. Dan
Thank you Neal, this may be a stupid question but here goes. I have an old used Cub Cadet SC2400 tractor and love it, it came with a Loader and box blade. Could you do a video on how to install the box blade on the 3 point hitch, I struggle with it every time i put it on. Transplanted York, Pa. boy now in Texas. And a shout out to your parts Dept. they were able to get a top part of the hood for me. well done !! and a special thank you for all these great video's.
Looks great at price point compared to what I found online before I decided to make my own. Clever mounting idea on bottom. I bought a 24x36" sheet of 16G 1/2" perforated rolled steel, cut to size and painted New Kubota Orange (Krylon). It's about a perfect match, color wise. I was about $115 all in with my (free) labor, so I think your price is pretty fair and might have bought one had I seen this before. I do like the matching orange though. I can't weld so it's held on with 10 heavy duty zip ties. So far, so good...
Wouldn’t it have been easier to put hooks on the top of the guard that hooked over the frame and just use the two bolt holes at the bottom of the frame?
Ok, after watching this I need to clarify. The grill guard came above the top horizontal bar by about 1/4". The curves of the two horizontal bars pushed into the back of the grill guard, that's what I meant by not fitting the curvature. I used clamps to pull the tabs of the grill guard back to the side supports so it could be drilled and secured. I noticed in the video that the 3301 (2?) horizontal bars are set further back in the factory grill guard and shouldn't interfere. I can assuming that the MINOR issues I had are exclusive to the 4701, and maybe just a production variance on this particular machine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH MESSICK'S AND THIS GRILL GUARD!
I received mine about 3 days ago. Came with no instructions, but that wasn't any problem. the grill guard Did Not fit the curvature of the factory guard. I had to pull it into place at the top using clamps. Again no really a problem for me, but could be for some. I like the way it looks and hope to never actually test it! L4701
Not to be the safety police, but as someone who had to spend 3 hrs at the eye doctor as a teenager having a drill shaving dug out of my right eye, I ABSOLUTELY suggest you use safety glasses anytime you're drilling.
“Once you got your nuts off…” as if my wife didn’t think I love my tractor too much already she heard your comment and now I’m not allowed to use the tractor unless she’s home to keep an eye on me

On order! Thanks Messick's for all the support for us tractor owners. :)

Neil, I do appreciate that you are providing a reasonably priced grille guard. Thank you !!! Dan 😊

These grill guards are really well made and easy to install. And look great too! Love it on my B2601.

Yes, there are small differences between models.
Same thing for my B2601, but I got it installed

Got mine from you all a couple weeks back. Easy install and love it! Thanks!

Looks like a great product. I’ll be ordering the grill guard and telescoping stabilizer kit for my BX2380.
Just the other day I watched Jon @ A RITTER BIT WILL DO mount his grill guard with the big "M" logo on his BX. Thanks Neil
Installed mine yesterday! Simple install and works great
I got one for my B2601, was a little tweaked but really does the the job.
any chance the holes line up with the pre-cut square holes in the new grill guards? my 23 model has two square holes on each side.
Such a fantastic product!!
Great installation demo, Neill!!!👍

Does the grill guard inhibit the lights at night? Looks like you might not have enough lights because it's blocked by the guard.
A little bit, yes. The headlights are already pretty compromised by the loader. If you need light at night, work lights are the way.
Love your videos. I have a Massey GC1723e so I need to look elsewhere.
Neal, does Kubota offer a travel or locking arm for the loaders?
No. We stick angle iron on the cylinder when we need to lock them
I looked at the brush guards BUT I didn't see any for the B2650
We just released one.

Hope orange is an option

Do you have one for a m6 141
New Holland PowerStar 75 ?
Do you make a guard for the M62
Not yet, add your name to the list on the brush guard page
What color are these? Black or the Kubota chassis grey?
black
does Kubota make a 4-pin to skid steer quick attach coupler?
What model loader?

That’s money well spent!
"....once you've got your nuts off..." -- hmmmm, are we still talking about the grill guard?
Who hasn’t drilled thick metal before? Loll isn’t the target here tractor owners, and not Starbucks baristas
