You're comparing the biggest film awards ceremony in one of the biggest nations in the world to a TV awards show in Britain though. The amount of money invested in Hollywood compared to the BBC, ITV etc is massive. Tbh, I like how the BAFTA keep everything in house and make it less of a spectical. It's nice :)
