    Also you should have went to Robbers Cave where Jessie James and a lot of the old outlaws hid out, when you were at Calton Lake. In McAlester that is the home of Carl Albert, Speaker of the House for Kennedy !!

    Haha, my stomping grounds. I live in Krebs, was born in McAlester.. My middle name is Quinton, named after the town. Cool seeing this .... Oh and Krebs was settled by Italian immigrants that worked the coal mines. They started the Italian restaurants that it is now famous for. Much of the population has Italian names and background. One more thing, you came in on a Sunday. Everything is closed so that's why they look abandoned. Krebs and McAlester.

      I really like Oklahoma when I travel through. I just finished up another Oklahoma video exploring the lake Texhoma region that will be out in a week or so

    Little Italy because of all the Italian foods . Petes Place, Rosanna's And such ! In Krebs

      its not just the Italian restaurants. The city was settled by lots of Italians that moved there to work in the coal mines.

      There is a great Italian festival every year as well.

      The building across from the high school is McAlester Scottish Rite building not a church
